Button wins Japanese Grand Prix

McLaren's Jenson Button held off Ferrari's Fernando Alonso on Sunday to take the checkered flag in the Japanese Grand Prix.

Renault's Sebastian Vettel finished third in Japan and clinched the drivers championship title for the season. Renault's Mark Webber and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top five at the race.

Mercedes' Michael Schumacher ended up in sixth place in the Japanese Grand Prix, while Ferrari's Felipe Massa was seventh.

Vettel has 324 points on the season, with Button in second place with 210 points, and Alonso third at 202 points. Renault leads McLaren 518-388 in the constructors championship with four races to go in the season.
