Play American Blackjack
Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games in the world, and is often portrayed in the media. Originally known as '21', this game has become bigger and better and time goes on. There are numerous variations of blackjack available, however, the basic rules of the game remain unchanged.
How to play American Blackjack
The aim of the game is simple - beat the dealer by getting as close to 21 points as possible without going bust (going over 21). Each card has a different value, while the Ace card can be either one or 11 points, whichever works better for your hand. All face cards are counted as 10 points, while all number cards retain their face value.
Each player is dealt two cards face up, while the dealer's two cards are faced down. The dealer is allowed to check his cards, but he may not show them to the players unless it is a blackjack (which will be an Ace and a 10-point card, making up 21). Players are required to place their bets based on the cards they have been dealt. Players can choose to 'stand' (keep their cards as is), or 'hit' (to be dealt an additional card). The player can ask the dealer to 'hit' for as many times as you like. Once the player rests his hand, the dealer will begin dealing until they have a minimum of 17 points.
You will win the game if your first two cards equals 21 points or if your total value is less than 21 points but more than the dealer's total. Another way to win blackjack is if the dealer goes bust and the player remains under 21. If there is a tie, which is known as a 'push', neither player will win.
