UFC Fight Night: Vieira vs. Tate Parlay

There won’t be any UFC event over the Thanksgiving weekend, so MMA fans will have to make sure to fill up on this week’s promotion. Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate will take on Ketlen Vieira in the headline fight, but there is also a lot of interest in Michael Chiesa’s showdown with Sean Brady. There are some intriguing matchups further down the ballot too, but these are the best parlay picks for Saturday.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Miesha Tate and Ketlen Vieira will headline an event at the UFC Apex Training Center in Enterprise, Nevada. The preliminary fights will kick off at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN Plus, while the main card starts at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN Plus.

Miesha Tate -105 vs. Ketlen Vieira

Former Strikeforce and UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate is a slight underdog to Ketlen Vieira in the main event, but she is the right choice. Three of Tate’s six losses in the UFC were to the two greatest female fighters in the history of MMA, and she held the championship belt five years ago with a submission win over Holly Holm when Holm was in her prime. Tate has something to prove after stepping away for almost five years to become a mother, and she will show it in this bout.

Vieira is 5-2 since joining the UFC. However, she has lost two of her last three fights and failed to make weight in her most recent bout back in February. Her best win was a split decision victory over Cat Zingano, and she doesn’t have anywhere near the seasoning of Tate.

Michael Chiesa +138 vs. Sean Brady

It’s been impressive to watch Sean Brady rise through the ranks. He became the Cage Fury Welterweight Champion before joining the UFC, and he is 4-0 in this promotion for an overall record of 14-0. Brady has two unanimous decision wins and two submission victories, but he has yet to face anyone of the caliber of Michael Chiesa.

Chiesa can match Brady’s prowess on the canvas. In his career, 11 of Chiesa’s 18 wins have come by submission, and he has yet to win a fight by knockout. He is extremely experienced as a grappler in this promotion and has more than enough talent to come out on top.

Taila Santos -355 vs. Joanne Calderwood

Although Taila Santos was a late replacement for Alexa Grasso, she is a considerable favorite against Joanne Calderwood. Santos is 18-1 in her MMA career, and she has secured unanimous decision victories in her last three fights.

Meanwhile, Joanne Calderwood has alternated wins and losses in her last six fights. Calderwood has not been dominant in any of those bouts, and she is now 15-6 in her career. She is dangerous with her legs as a former kickboxer, but her ground skills aren’t great, and she hasn’t scored a knockout in over five years.
