It’s the best moment of the NFL week, as I peruse the lines, odds and totals to pick out the perfect Crazy NFL Parlay for you to turn the price of a trip to WingStop into a Kawasaki ATV.
If this is your first foray into the Crazy NFL Parlay, here’s how it works. I don’t just randomly pick plus moneylines and clump them together. How dare you, sir? I carefully look over the games of the week and deduce which ones have the highest probability of upset, proving the NFL’s motto of “Any team can win on any given Sunday.” It happens every single week. We should be able to make money on it.
Here’s what I’ve hand selected from the betting artisanal farmer’s market this week;
Pittsburgh Steelers +135
Indianapolis Colts +120
Houston Texans +130
Tennessee Titans +150
Jacksonville Jaguars +120
Dallas Cowboys +105
Arizona Cardinals +175
Baltimore Ravens +200
If you’ve read my Friday Afternoon Quarterback, Saturday NFL Preview, Sunday Night Football and Christmas Day Football picks articles, then you know that I already like a couple of these upsets. I feel as if the Titans will defeat the over-hyped Seattle Seahawks in Nashville if, for no other reason, than to screw up their draft positioning since they’ve already been eliminated from AFC playoff contention. I also believe the Ravens will slide into Santa Clara on Christmas and go full Grinch mode on the San Francisco 49ers’ Whoville Christmas celebration, even taking their roast beast.
It’s the others we need to talk ourselves into, so let’s get to it.
The last time Mason Rudolph took over as the Steelers’ starter, he helped them get to .500 to keep Mike Tomlin’s non-losing streak intact. Would it shock anyone if Pittsburgh, especially with TJ Watt rushing the QB, takes down Jake Browning and the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday?
The Atlanta Falcons aren’t good and facing a Colts squad that’s put together as good a streak over the last couple of months as any team in the league. And, yes, they’ve done it against bad teams, but the Falcons are a bad team.
Case Keenum used to quarterback the Cleveland Browns and wasn’t horrible for them. He’s won big games before and who knows if the Joe Flacco magic can continue, especially against a Texans team fighting for their own playoff spot?
The Jaguars are a better team, overall than the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and are looking at what might turn out to be a must-win game to keep control of the AFC South. Trevor Lawrence has been banged up but can still carve up the Bucs’ secondary.
Thanks to the Los Angeles Rams winning on Thursday night, the Cowboys can now claim two victories over winning teams this year. The Miami Dolphins have yet to defeat a team over .500 in 2023.
And, lastly, the Cardinals at Chicago Bears has every indication of being a real shootout with two mobile, strong armed quarterbacks and suspect defenses. If Arizona has the ball last, they could easily win this game.
A winning $10 parley bet on these eight moneylines pays $11,050.86.
