Commanders Daniels, Heavy Favorite for Offensive Rookie of The Year

Jayden Daniels, Commanders (-250)

Rookie Jayden Daniels has taken the NFL by storm. He’s led the Commanders, the surprise

team thus far, to a 4-1 record for the first time since 2008, and sit atop the NFC East. Daniels

has thrown for 1,135 yards, 4 touchdowns and has completed 77% of his throws. He also ran

for 4 scores while racking up 300 yards on the ground. Daniels’ season has been going so well,

he’s getting consideration for league MVP. Barring a complete meltdown, Daniels should be a

finalist for this honor.

Caleb Williams, Bears (+300)

The first overall pick had his best game as a pro against the Panthers throwing for 304 yards,

more than 10 yards per attempt. After a sluggish start Caleb Williams has put himself back in

the mix. And Williams has a chance to put up more impressive numbers as he faces three of

the worst defenses in the next few weeks, the Jaguars, Commanders, and Cardinals. If Daniels

deals with some adversity, Williams could move up ever further.\

Malik Nabers, Giants (+600)

Malik Nabers is having a monster season already averaging nearly 100 yards per game (96.5)

and he’s made some spectacular grabs. He has three touchdowns and seven catches for at

least 20+ yards. What may hinder his chances, injuries. He missed Week 5 with a concussion

and if he misses any more games, that won’t help his chances.

Marvin Harrison Jr., Cardinals (+1400)

Marvin Harrison Jr. was considered the best player in the draft and so far he hasn’t

disappointed. He is a generational talent and has fit in perfectly with the Cardinals and Kyler

Murray. Harrison is tied for second with 4 receiving touchdowns and has 279 yards on just 17

receptions. He appears to be the one rookie who can be consistent throughout the entire

season.

Longshot Chance

Bo Nix, Broncos (+2500)

After two losses to start the season, Bo Nix has led the Broncos to three straight, impressive

wins. His stats won’t blow you away, just 866 passing yards, 3 touchdowns and 4 picks, but

he’s looked more comfortable the last few weeks. Things will have to continue to go in the right

direction for Nix to be considered for OROY, but at long odds, it may be worth a sprinkle.
