Betting on the Sidelines: NFL Teams Set Odds for Next Male Cheerleader Addition

Male cheerleaders in the NFL are far from a new phenomenon.
They’ve been part of the league since at least 2018, and their presence is growing.
A reported 12 teams will feature male cheerleaders in 2025, a significant jump from the seven teams that included them in 2024. The increase reflects the league’s ongoing shift toward greater diversity and representation on the sidelines.
BetOnline.ag has set odds on which NFL team will be the next to employ a cheerleader.
The favorites make sense as they make their homes in more liberal locations. And the longshots definitely make sense.
The world-famous Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, who were featured on “America’s Sweethearts,” seem likely be the last team to add a male cheerleader, and the odds reflect just that.
NOTE: The Bills, Bears, Browns, Packers, Chargers, Giants, Jets and Steelers do not have official cheerleading squads.
