Little League World Series Sets Betting Records as Championship Nears

The 2025 Little League World Series is coming to a close with the International and U.S. bracket championships Saturday, and then the LLBWS Championship Sunday afternoon on ABC.
The website creating daily game lines and tournament futures (overall champion), BetOnline.ag, said the wagering surrounding the tournament has hit a historical high.
“Comparing the numbers to last year, we’re seeing twice as many bets and twice as much money wagered in 2025,” BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason said. “The interest around betting on these incredible teams has certainly reached a fever pitch, and this is easily the most bet Little League tourney in the history of our company.”
Mason did say that while the sportsbook has seen historical betting figures and that there’s been more wagering on the LLWS than on the WNBA, tennis and soccer this week, BetOnline isn’t necessarily winning money on the games.
“We treat this like any professional sport in terms of handicapping the games and we’re confident in our approach, but the bettors have been doing very well so we’re just hoping to break even at this point,” Mason said.
Looking ahead to Saturday, both of the undefeated teams (Taipei and Connecticut) are favored to win their games.
For the first time this tournament, BetOnline is offering run totals and runlines for each of the championship games. Saturday’s championship game lines can be seen here.
