NFL Football Betting: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers Prop Bets

As two of the league’s seven remaining winless teams, things are not going well for the Steelers and Bengals. The rivalry once known for its bad blood has been reduced to a contest to see who can stay out of the AFC North’s cellar.

Though the Steelers have won seven straight in this series, these aren’t the Steelers of old. Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are all gone for one reason or another. Their old nemesis, Vontaze Burfict, is also no longer involved but still getting in trouble

At least we have gambling. Here are some of our favorite props to target so you’ll have a reason to tune in.

TYLER BOYD HAS MORE RECEIVING YARDS THAN JUJU SMITH-SCHUSTER (+127)

Boyd had more yards than Smith-Schuster in Week 2 and had a good shot last week as well. Smith-Schuster really only had one long play while Boyd was consistently used. With Mason Rudolph at the helm, JuJu is not as trustworthy as Boyd.

JAMES CONNER TO HAVE 60+ RUSHING YARDS AND JOE MIXON TO HAVE 60+ RUSHING YARDS (+131)

In the six games these two have played this season, they have one 60-yard game between them. That was Mixon in Week 3, who had exactly 60 yards. So let’s call this a positive regression pick more than anything.

On top of that, these run defenses have struggled. The Steelers allow 139 rushing yards per game (28th in the league) and the Bengals allow 168 (31st). It’s not a stretch to say both Conner and Mixon get back on track tonight.

DEFENSIVE OR SPECIAL TEAMS TD SCORED (YES +206)

For some, Andy Dalton vs. Mason Rudolph is enough. That’s defensible. But the numbers also point to the Steelers having turnover success. Pittsburgh ranks tied for seventh in takeaways while Cincinnati is tied for the sixth-most giveaways. We won’t be surprised if someone takes an interception to the house tonight.

JAMES WASHINGTON 5 RECEPTIONS OR MORE (+500)

Washington is third on the team in targets and someone is going to have to step up in Vance McDonald’s absence. The Steelers traded for Nick Vannett earlier this week, but it’s unlikely he’ll be an asset so soon. With so much focus on Smith-Schuster, this is the perfect spot for Washington to make an impact. The former second-round pick is in a great spot to make something happen.

Granted, Washington has never caught more than three passes in a game. If you’re feeling less adventurous, take a look at Washington 3+ receptions (-125) or Washington 4+ receptions (+196).

ANDY DALTON TO HAVE 274+ PASSING YARDS, JOE MIXON TO HAVE 70+ RUSHING YARDS, JOE MIXON TO HAVE 1+ TOUCHDOWNS AND CIN TO WIN (+1250)

Here’s the Cincinnati upset special. Though the Bengals are three-point underdogs, they could very well be the better team. Dalton is averaging 326.3 yards per game. Mixon is primed for a breakout against a team that is very beatable on the ground. No one would be shocked if the Bengals won outright. If you love the Bengals, this is your bet.
