Longshots Dominate Liability List Ahead of the Open Championship

Unlike a game involving two teams, it’s impossible for a sportsbook to try and balance action for a golf tournament.
If you have massive liability on a guy, say like, Kevin Yu, you can’t just cut his odds from 175/1 to 25/1. And you can’t change Scottie Scheffler’s odds from 5/1 to 25/1 to attract more action at the top.
Anyone in the field can win, and that’s why we see some serious liabilities week to week on longshots like Yu, and like Haotong Li. Those two guys are in the Top 5 in terms of liabilities for BetOnline ahead of the Open Championship this week.
