Home Run Leader Odds 2025: No Surprise, Judge and Ohtani Are Favorites

Who will hit the most home runs in Major League Baseball during the 2025 regular season? Aaron Judge has led MLB in regular-season home runs twice in his career, doing so in 2022 and 2024. Can he do it again? In each of the past three seasons, the league leader in homers has hit at least 50. Let’s look at the odds!

Aaron Judge, Yankees +300
If Aaron Judge remains healthy, he’ll likely be in contention to lead the majors in home runs again. Over his career, he’s played 150 games or more three times, and he led the league in home runs in two of those years. Judge turns 33 in April, and health remains a big question mark. However, make no mistake, he can hit 50 homers with ease, as he’s averaged 49 home runs in the last four seasons.

Shohei Ohtani, Dodgers +400
Last season, Shohei Ohtani hit 54 home runs, leading the National League. The previous year, the Japanese superstar smacked 44 home runs in just 135 games. There’s no question that he’s one of the best at the long ball. Last year, he also became the first player to reach the 50/50 club, hitting both 50 home runs and stealing 50 bases.

Juan Soto, Mets +1200
After moving from the Yankees to the Mets, Juan Soto will try to build off his 41 home runs from last season and the 35 dingers the year before. Interestingly, he’s moving from Yankee Stadium, which allowed the third-most homers, to Citi Field, which ranks 15th. Soto was as high as +2500 just a couple of months ago, but his odds have improved since signing that megadeal.

Pete Alonso, Mets +1200
Pete Alonso has hit at least 40 home runs in three of his six seasons—all with the New York Mets—but he’s coming off a down year, hitting just 34 home runs. He could be in for a bounce-back season that could put him back in contention for the home run crown.
