Barkley and Kupp Top Prop Plays in Eagles vs Rams
The 8-2 Philadelphia Eagles travel to California to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 action. Sitting atop the NFC East, Philly has won six straight and is poised to make it seven in a row. Backed by Saquon Barkley coming out of the backfield and with Jalen Hurts behind center, the Eagles are on the rise and ready for the challenge.
On the other side of the field are the hosting Rams, who, with Matthew Stafford as their quarterback, look to keep pace with the rest of the pack in the NFC West. Stafford’s main target, Cooper Kupp, is someone to key in on for any Rams game.
Let’s dive in and take a look at a few key prop plays. Check out the fresh odds on BetOnline.
Philadelphia Eagles
Saquon Barkley Over 93.5 Rushing Yards -118
Running back Saquon Barkley has been an absolute beast this season for the Philadelphia Eagles. He’s the main reason the franchise is leading the league in rushing yards per game this season, with 181.3 yards per contest. Barkley sits second in the NFL in rushing yards, trailing only Baltimore’s Derrick Henry, thanks to his 1,137 yards on the ground. The Penn State alum had his sixth 100-plus rushing yard game this season, which is the most in the NFL so far this year.
Barkley has rushed for more than 100 yards in four of his last five outings, which includes a season-high 176-yard pounding of his former team, the New York Giants.
Jalen Hurts Over 220.5 Passing Yards -117
Known for being light on his feet, Jalen Hurts has been slinging the ball more recently. He’s thrown for over 220.5 yards in three of his last four contests, with a completion percentage of over 70% in four of his last five games. The Los Angeles Rams are averaging over 220.5 passing yards per game this season, so Hurts will be able to put a beating on the boys from Cali.
Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford Under 245.5 Passing Yards -109
Quarterback Matthew Stafford will need to make some adjustments come Sunday night. His opponents, the visiting Philadelphia Eagles, are one of the best defensive teams in the league this season. They’re allowing the second-fewest total passing yards per game, with just 173.2 yards through the air. Add in the fact that, since Week 6, they sit second in opponent dropback EPA (expected points added) and first in opponent dropback success rate.
Cooper Kupp Over 6.5 Receptions -125
He’s Matthew Stafford’s main target for a reason. In all but a single game, that being Week 2 against the Arizona Cardinals, receiver Cooper Kupp has been targeted over six times in a single game. When it comes to actual receptions, Kupp has caught six or more passes in each of his last three games. That includes an eleven-reception game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Kupp will hit the over in this one, even if it’s by just a yard or two. A catch is a catch.
