Chargers, Chiefs Battle on Sunday Night Football: Odds, Prediction 

The Chiefs will look to lock up the AFC West for a 9th straight season with a win against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football. However, a win by LA would keep its slim hopes of winning the division alive. Have a look at the latest odds

While the offense wasn’t impressive—totaling under 140 yards—the defense stepped up by forcing four turnovers, including a pick-six to beat the Falcons. Can they continue their road success in KC? LA is No. 1 in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 15.7 PPG. This unit held the Chiefs to just 17 points earlier this season and is coming off a tremendous performance in Atlanta.

The Chargers should be able to give Patrick Mahomes and his offense fits all night, but how will the offense fare against the No. 3 run defense in the NFL? LA is without its top running back, J.K. They’ve been escaping with narrow victories, and with LA’s top defensive unit, Sunday night may bring a repeat performance.

Prediction: UNDER 43 With the best scoring defense in the Chargers and a Chiefs defense that plays well at home, the under makes a lot of sense here. They combined for just 27 points earlier this season, and this should be another low-scoring game. It wouldn’t be surprising to see a late field goal decide this one, so sticking to the under seems like the best bet.
