Halloween just ended, but Christmas comes early as we unveil this week’s Crazy NFL Parlay.
If this is your first time here, let me tell you what we’re doing. The Crazy NFL Parlay isn’t just picking plus moneylines and hoping for the best, it’s an attempt to take the NFL’s favorite slogan, “Any given team can win on any given Sunday” and monetize it.
We’re picking games for real, banking on selecting the correct upsets that happen every single week.
Here’s what I have selected for you this week;
Miami Dolphins +103
Los Angeles Rams +145
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +130
Carolina Panthers +112
New York Giants +110
Dallas Cowboys +140
Buffalo Bills +105
New York Jets +160
If you’ve read my Friday Afternoon Quarterback, Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football previews, then you already know I like two of these “upsets.” I think, if Matthew Stafford plays, the Rams have more than enough in the tank, and on the field, to take down a pretty hapless Green Bay Packers team. I also like the Giants, led by Brian Daboll, to overtake the Las Vegas Raiders in their first game with interim head coach Antoio Pearce who is starting a rookie, Aiden O’Connell, at quarterback.
It’s the other games we have to talk ourselves into, so let’s get cracking.
The Dolphins and Kansas City Chiefs are a one-point spread on a neutral field in London. It’s a Tyreek Hill revenge game featuring two of the best, most potent, offenses in the league. No one should be shocked to see Miami come out on top there.
The Buccaneers are facing a Houston Texans squad led by a rookie, albeit a good one, quarterback with holes all over the roster.
Carolina is welcoming a banged-up Indianapolis Colts team to Charlotte. And while the Colts have more talent, they’re playing their own backup QB and the Panthers aren’t completely devoid of luck and weapons, as they proved in a victory over Houston last week.
The Cowboys might be the only team that can keep the Philadelphia Eagles from nailing down the NFC early. They split last year and this will be the first time both teams show up (mostly) healthy. Dallas has the offense to keep up with Philly and the defense that can get them off the field.
Buffalo is always dangerous and owes the Cincinnati Bengals for knocking them out of the playoffs a season ago. These are two relatively evenly matched teams with similar rosters and elite franchise quarterbacks. And while Joe Burrow appears healthy now, Von Miller could re-introduce himself to him quickly and change that.
Lastly, the Jets continue to ride the good mojo of losing our nation’s preeminent ivermectin spokesman, Aaron Rodgers, four plays into the season. Not only that, but the coaching matchup between Robert Saleh and Brandon Staley of the Los Angeles Chargers is significantly one-sided and New York is playing at home.
A $10 winning parlay bet on these eight moneylines pays $6,504.54.
