Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Monday Night NFL Props

The Dallas Cowboys are set to return from their bye while Jason Witten is set to return to his 2018 home when the Cowboys travel to New York for Monday Night Football. Witten ended his brief career as a Monday night commentator to play another season in Dallas. He’s third on the team in receiving yards in his 16th season as a Cowboy.

Dallas will also be welcoming a newcomer after swinging a trade with the Patriots for Michael Bennett before the bye. The three-time Pro Bowler had 2.5 sacks in three games with New England.

The Giants added a defensive lineman of their own when they traded for Leonard Williams, who the Jets picked sixth overall in 2015. Though this is the second meeting of the season between these two teams, it will be the first featuring Daniel Jones. Eli Manning started for the Giants in their Week 1 loss to the Cowboys. Jones will look to end the Giants’ four-game losing streak.

If you’d like to watch with a little money on the line, here are a few of our favorite props to consider.

DAK PRESCOTT 311+ YARDS (+106)

The Giants are allowing 283.5 passing yards per game and Prescott dropped 405 on them in the first meeting. We can’t expect a repeat performance, but we can expect a very good one.

MOST RUSHING YARDS: EZEKIEL ELLIOTT (DAL) VS SAQUON BARKLEY (NYG) (BARKLEY +163)

They’re both so talented that this is really a toss-up. Yet the odds would indicate Elliott (-256) is a solid favorite. That’s a bit of a surprise considering Barkley more than doubled Zeke’s rushing yards in their first meeting. Elliott has the better offense and Barkley may not be fully recovered from his ankle injury, but the odds make Barkley the clear choice.

EVAN ENGRAM (NYG) 1+ TOUCHDOWNS (+175)

The Cowboys have given up a touchdown to a tight end in two straight games. Engram scored one against them in Week 1, too. Dallas enters the game giving up 65.4 yards per game to tight ends, which is fourth-most in the league. That suggests Engram may not need red zone targets to score.

AMARI COOPER (DAL) 133+ RECEIVING YARDS (+309)

Cooper is prone to huge games and there’s a good shot he has another one here. No team gives up more yards per game to wide receivers (201.5) than the Giants. Cooper himself dropped 106 on them in Week 1 (Michael Gallup had 158) and the Giants don’t seem to be getting any better. Kenny Golladay just had 123 yards against them last week.

You can also get Cooper scores a touchdown at +100. He found the end zone in three of his four career Monday night games.

DANIEL JONES TO HAVE 250+ PASSING YARDS AND NYG TO WIN (+500)

This would obviously be a big upset considering the Giants are seven-point underdogs. This is more of an odds-based pick. Crazy things happen in division games all the time and the Giants are playing at home in a primetime game. Is it really that crazy to think Jones could have 250 yards in a New York win? It’s worth a shot at +500.
