DK Metcalf Trade Odds: Packers Lead the Way After Lockett’s Departure

Shortly after the Seahawks announced they are cutting steady veteran Tyler Lockett, DeKaylin Zecharius Metcalf, otherwise known as DK, asked to be traded.

This seems to be more about getting a new contract with one year left on his current deal than leaving Seattle.

Metcalf already signed a 3-year, $72 million extension in 2022, but has watched many receivers pass those numbers as he is now the 13^th-highest paid receiver.

That will change again once Ja’Marr Chase inks a new deal.
