As we embark on a new year, let us reflect on some relevant Freezing Cold Takes from the past week’s events.
THE EAGLES ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS
The Eagles clinched the NFC East division title after winning their final four games to finish the season at 9-7 including a win over the Giants on Sunday. Here are some tweets from earlier in the month when the Eagles lost to the Dolphins:
COWBOYS FALL FLAT
With the Cowboys finishing at 8-8 and not making the playoffs, it is likely the end of Jason Garrett’s nine-year reign as the team’s head coach. However, before and after Dallas began the season 3-0, missing the postseason was not many people’s foreseeable ending. Especially after the Cowboys week one win over the Giants where Dak Prescott threw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs in new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore’s debut. BROWNS SEASON IS OVER
With the Browns terribly disappointing season officially over, let’s review some tweets from after they beat the Ravens at the end of September:
