It’s a battle of the NFC South on Thursday NIght Football as the first-place Buccaneers take on
the Falcons in Atlanta. This matchup is expected to be a close one and likely coming down to
the final possession, and has the potential to be a field goal game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After a letdown against the Broncos, the Bucs returned to their winning ways with a dominating
victory against the Eagles. Tampa jumped out to a 24-0 and never looked back as Baker
Mayfield was impressive, completing 30 of his 47 passes for 347 yards, two touchdowns, and
no interceptions. The Buccaneers are averaging almost 25 points per game while giving up
about 20, and are 2-2 on the totals.
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have been inconsistent to start the season alternating losses and wins for the first
four games. Atlanta showed some poise Sunday coming back to win on a last-second field
goal. Overall, the offense ranks 21st in the league averaging 19 points a game, a bit
underwhelming considering the weapons Kirk Cousins has. This appears to be a game where
the running attack can be successful. Tampa has allowed more than 100 team yards in every
game and ranks 11th against the run. Bijan Robinson was quiet last week, just seven carries
for 28 yards. Between him and Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta could find some success. This should be
tight but the home team comes away with a narrow, last minute victory.

Mike Evans: Anytime TD (+150)
The Falcons have had troubles stopping receivers this season allowing 110 yards and a TD to
Rashee Rice, DeVonta Smith also found paydirt, and Saints wideouts, Chris Olave and Rashid
Shaheed had 87 and 83 yards, respectively. Evans was targeted 14 times against the Eagles
recording 8 receptions for 94 yards and a TD. Mayfield is always looking for his favorite target
and should have chances against this defense.
Bijan Robinson OVER 2.5 Receptions (-135)
It seems like Tyler Allgeier is taking away carries from Bijan Robinson so let’s use Robinson as
a receiver instead. He’s averaging almost 4 attempts and 34 yards receiving per game. He’s
gone over his total in 3 of four games. Tampa’s defense hasn’t been able to contain rushers in
the backfield, allowing 243 yards to RB’s this season, the second-most in the NFL.

Series Head-to-head
