Four Good Bets To Lead The NFL In Receiving Yards

We are just a couple of weeks away from the start of the 2021 NFL regular season. There are a lot of questions as to which players will end up having terrific years while others will regress and stumble, specifically in the pass catcher category. Here we are going to look at four of the best bets to lead the league in receiving yards this season, a category that always ends up being ridiculously close by the time the season comes to an end.

Stefon Diggs

There are a lot of people out there that heavily expect Stefon Diggs to regress this upcoming season. However, many don’t realize that he was averaging around 113 receiving yards per game in the final eight weeks of the season, including playoffs. That was the reason he was able to lead the league in this category last season, with 1,535 yards. His chemistry was rocketing off the charts with Josh Allen and with a full offseason to get closer they could be even more dangerous. Diggs is probably one of the best bets to take home the receiving yards title this season.

Calvin Ridley

It may sound like a longshot, but it truly isn’t. Calvin Ridley is among the favorites to win the receiving yards title this season and a lot of that is due to Julio Jones being traded over to the Tennessee Titans during the offseason. Ridley was already putting up pretty great numbers alongside Jones and now that he is on a different team, he will get a ton more opportunities throughout the year. The Atlanta Falcons are also in no position to compete for a championship this season, meaning they may be airing the ball out quite a bit just to stay in contention.

Davante Adams

Now that Aaron Rodgers has officially settled down at training camp and has made it clear he is going to play this upcoming season, bettors can rest easy about Davante Adams. There were a lot of concerns regarding his upcoming contract situation and the absence of his favorite quarterback, but it seems he will be back and ready for one more season with the Green Bay Packers. Adams is starting to be known as one of the best route runners in the league, and his chemistry with the future Hall of Fame quarterback only makes him more dangerous in open space.

Travis Kelce

Another surprise pick here but Travis Kelce may have a great shot at taking the title this year. Last season, Kelce finished as the runner up in receiving yards with 1,416 in total. He would have been the very first tight end to ever lead the league in this category had he gotten a little bit more. This year, he is returning with the same explosive offense as before with the superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes throwing him the football. Opposing teams have to put so much attention to Mahomes and Tyreek Hill that Kelce continues to dominate the linebackers that suit up against him. Kelce could have another dominant season and should compete for the title.
