1. BALTIMORE RAVENS (11-2)
I’m getting a solid 2018 Kansas City Chiefs vibe from this Ravens team. They’re exciting to watch and the AFC squad everybody wants to see in the Super Bowl. It’d be a damn shame if the Patriots messed it all up like they’ve done, oh, nine or 10 or 20 times over the last two decades.

2. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (11-2)
Going into New Orleans and winning a shootout with Drew Brees is the exact kind of thing that can lead to hoisting a Lombardi Trophy in February.

3. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (9-4)
Maybe the hot team that stumbled in the AFC Championship in 2018 can be the team that makes the 2019 hot team fall on its face this year.

4. GREEN BAY PACKERS (10-3)
Aaron Rodgers is healthy. The defense is playing well and the coach actually draws up and calls real NFL plays. I don’t care about the 49ers score a few weeks ago. Seeing this team in Super Bowl LIV wouldn’t shock me at all.

5. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (10-3)
That’s a bad look, losing at home to the 49ers when you were at full strength, Saints. If you get another shot at them, it’ll be at Levi’s in front of their fanbase of sommeliers and fromagers. Bring a merlot.

6. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (10-3)
Every good team has a game film they want to burn. Most of them don’t happen in December.

7. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (10-3)
It’s hard to believe the sky is falling for a 10-3 team, but I just got hit in the head by something and I’m pretty sure their video guy got it on film.

8. MINNESOTA VIKINGS (9-4)
The Vikings have three games left on the schedule and probably need to win them all to hold off the Rams. One of them is against the Packers, who will be playing for the NFC North and a home playoff game. The others are the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers. If Minnesota holds on, they will have earned it.
Last week: 10
9. LOS ANGELES RAMS (8-5)
The playoff math for the Rams is simple. If they don’t win out, there’s no reason to even pull out the calculator again.
Last week: 11
10. BUFFALO BILLS (9-4)
This Bills team could be building something special in the AFC East for years to come now that the Pats finally seem to be coughing blood. It’d be nice to see them make a statement against New England at Foxborough in a couple of weeks to prove it.
Last week: 9
11. TENNESSEE TITANS (8-5)
The Titans have won five of their last six and are a win this Sunday over the Texans from taking over the AFC South. Ryan Tannehill isn’t in the MVP conversation, but if there’s an honorable mention, he should get it.
Last week: 12
