Black Monday was kind of tame this year. Maybe it’s because three coaches were fired in-season, or maybe owners are tired of paying multiple coaches at one time.
Whatever the reason is, we’ve only had two firings since the regular season ended. Both Jerod Mayo of the Patriots and Doug Pederson of the Jaguars have been fired.
We still haven’t heard the official word in Dallas and Las Vegas, and there’s always a chance there’s a surprise firing or parting of the ways.
The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have opened lines for the next head coaches of the Pats and Jags with Mike Vrabel and Ben Johnson as the respective favorites.
