The only other quarterback to lead his team to multiple Super Bowl wins is Peyton Manning. Brady would win an unimaginable seven Super Bowls with an upset over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV on February 7, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

For the first time ever, both quarterbacks are expected to throw for over 300 yards in the Super Bowl according to the oddsmakers. Patrick Mahomes’ passing total is set at a dizzying 330.5 yards, while Brady’s is currently at 300.5 yards.

Brady threw for at least 300 yards in seven of his 16 regular season games, and he only eclipsed that plateau once in the playoffs. His proponents will say that Brady has thrown for over 300 yards in five of his last eight games, but the under is the play here.

The GOAT did throw for 345 yards against the Chiefs in Week 12. However, a lot of Brady’s production came after the Buccaneers fell behind 27-10. It’s likely that Bruce Arians will run the ball more this time in order to keep Kansas City’s offense off the field as much as possible. Also, the Chiefs are one of the top ten pass defenses in the NFL, but they were one of the bottom ten run units.

There is great value on the under here. The public loves to bet overs with Super Bowl props, and they have run wild with this one.

Tampa Bay has an abundance of talent at the skill positions. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, and Antonio Brown have all made at least one Pro Bowl. The presence of so many recognizable names, and a healthy Brown, has led to a lot of action on the over.

However, Tampa Bay only had six players catch a pass in its win over Washington and only seven Buccaneers caught a pass against Green Bay in the NFC Championship Game. While eight players caught a pass in the New Orleans game, five of those players had just one reception. This prop should be shaded in the other direction.

Given all the aforementioned weapons that Brady has to work with in the passing game, Cameron Brate can fall under the radar. He has developed a rapport with No. 12 over the course of the year though. That has led to Brate being the third most productive receiver for the Buccaneers in the postseason, and he has been targeted at least five times in every playoff game. Brate had 50 receiving yards or more in two of Tampa Bay’s three playoff games, so the over is a nice play. Additionally, he has been a red zone target, so the 20-1 flyer is worth a small bet.

Shaq Barrett 66-1 to Win Super Bowl MVP

The key for Tampa Bay on Sunday is to get to Patrick Mahomes. The Buccaneers’ defense should be able to make Kansas City’s offense one-dimensional given their strength in the front seven, and they have the potential to completely maul the Chiefs’ offensive line. Kansas City is without its two starting guards and two starting tackles from last year’s Super Bowl winning team, and the loss of left tackle Eric Fisher in the AFC Championship Game really stings.

That opens the door for a defensive player to win MVP. Jason Pierre-Paul and Shaq Barrett appear to have the most value of the longshots, and I’m going to go with Barrett. Barrett leads the team with three sacks in the playoffs, and he led the NFL with 19.5 sacks in 2019.
