Under Review Show – Week 11 Recap and Week 12 Preview

If you’re not following the picks of the Under Review show, you must not like money. The New York Jets were the biggest winner of the three, routing Washington despite being an underdog on the road per the NFL betting odds. Under Review Show – The Aftermath Nov 19

The first play of this week’s Teaseburger is a familiar one. New England has been a popular pick throughout the season, and the hosts are riding with the Patriots again at home versus the Dallas Cowboys. The Pats are currently -6.5 at BetOnline, so New England simply needs to win for this part of the Teaseburger to cash.

New England is in a great spot this week. Left tackle Isaiah Wynn returns to the team for the first time since Week 1, and he should immediately help an offensive line that has struggled to get much going in the run game. The Patriots’ 2018 first round pick has only played one game for the team as he suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon last year and went down with a toe injury this year, but he has shown a lot of potential in practice and minicamp.

Additionally, Tom Brady has had time to establish rapport with Mohamed Sanu. While Sanu isn’t the downfield threat that Antonio Brown or Josh Gordon was for New England, he gives the Patriots an option aside from Julian Edelman and James White. That has been one of the major problems with this offense, and Sanu should help alleviate that as the season progresses.

The second leg of the Week 12 Teaseburger is a controversial one. While two of the three hosts are down on Seattle this year, the Seahawks are the play. Seattle is +2 on the road against Philadelphia at BetOnline, so teasing the Seahawks gives you nine points to work with on Sunday.

The Seahawks are one of two teams that has yet to lose on the road this season. Seattle lost in the Emerald City to both New Orleans and Baltimore, but this team is 5-0 away from the Pacific Northwest. Russell Wilson is currently one of the favorites to win the NFL MVP, and he has Seattle in contention to earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC. However, it’s not all roses for Seattle. The Seahawks have won one game by more than seven points this season, and they have an unsustainable record in one score games.

Philadelphia is not in a good spot though. The Eagles might be without their top three receivers this week as DeSean Jackson is out, Alshon Jeffery is doubtful, and Nelson Agholor is questionable to play against Seattle. We saw how limited the Eagles were without their best receivers last week against New England, so this isn’t a great spot for Philadelphia.

New Orleans is the final leg of the Week 12 Teaseburger. The Saints are -9.5 at home against Carolina this week on BetOnline, so you cross all four key numbers when teasing New Orleans.

After a dreadful performance in the Big Easy against Atlanta two weeks ago, the Saints got back to their winning ways last week against Tampa Bay. New Orleans cruised to an easy victory over the Buccaneers, while the Kyle Allen hype has died down considerably after his performance in his last four games.

Allen has thrown nine interceptions in his last four outings, and he has been sacked 18 times in those games as well. New Orleans has an excellent defense that can shut down subpar quarterbacks like Allen, so teasing the Saints so they only need to win by a field goal feels like a great idea.
