The odds are out for who\u2019ll be the next head coach of the New York Knicks and it appears that Tom Thibodeau is the favorite. He\u2019s currently up on the board at -200 while everyone else is at +450 or longer. Thibs has had a mixed track record as he led the Chicago Bulls to several successful seasons \u2013 including a 62-win season in 2010-11. They were never less than eight games over .500 under him. However, his last three years in Minnesota have been mixed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If it\u2019s not Thibodeau, guys like Mark Jackson, Kenny Atkinson and Mike Miller are in the mix. Miller is the team\u2019s interim head coach and is on the board at +600. The team has played better under his watch as they were 4-18 before he took over but are 17-27 since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NHL is planning a return in late July or early August, and we know now the first-round playoff series that we\u2019re going to see. One of those will be the Nashville Predators, who are favored to be the Arizona Coyotes, in a best-of-five series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Coyotes were one of the last teams into the playoffs as they have just 74 points so far. Only the Chicago Blackhawks have fewer (72). The Predators are not much better as they\u2019re at 78, though. The Preds will have home-ice advantage but keep in mind that they were just 17-18-4 at home this season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cowboys are now priced at +1000, which puts them behind the San Francisco 49ers (+525), the New Orleans Saints (+550) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+550).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cowboys should have an electric offense after adding wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to the mix. The biggest change they made this offseason was on the sidelines where head coach Mike McCarthy replaced Jason Garrett. There has been a lot of speculation that Iron Mike Tyson might come out of retirement for one more boxing match. Guys like Danny Williams and Deontay Wilder have been calling him out of late, and now former MMA legend Tito Ortiz has done so as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the two were, in fact, to box, Tyson would have a big edge. Ortiz had success in Mixed Martial Arts but never really did much boxing. Tyson is listed as an early -400 favorite while Ortiz is on the board at +300.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we\u2019re still waiting on the NBA to announce when and if they\u2019ll come back, we will have some action in the German BBL this Saturday as it\u2019s making its return. We have just one game on the board for Saturday morning at 10:30 AM ET when Crailsheim Merlins take on Goettingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In case you\u2019re wondering, Geottingen is currently eighth in the standings with a record of 11-10. Meanwhile, Crailshem has been much stronger this season as they are currently 15-6 and had won nine of their last 10 games entering the break.
