The final episode of the Michael Jordan documentary \u2018Last Dance\u2019 aired this past Sunday and while the reviews were generally good, not everyone was upbeat and positive. BetOnline conducted an interview on Monday with Jordan\u2019s former teammates Horace Grant, Ron Harper, Bill Cartwright and Craig Hodges, and they didn\u2019t hold back. Specifically, Grant had some choice words about Jordan, who has been portrayed as an immaculate superstar in the series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grant Refutes Being The \u201cJordan Rules\u201d Snitch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In an interview with BetOnline, Grant refuted that he was the locker room snitch. In the \u201cLast Dance\u201d, it was suggested that he was the person who leaked much of the information from Sam Smith\u2019s famous \u201cThe Jordan Rules\u201d book and Jordan alleged as much as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In Monday’s interview, Grant said it “is a downright, outright, completely lie” that he leaked any of the information. Grant, who won three consecutive titles with Jordan from 1991-93, resented the notion altogether<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Grant Suggests \u2018Last Dance\u2019 Portrayals Inaccurate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the most entertaining aspects of \u2018The Last Dance\u2019 was just how in-depth they went in their examination of both the Chicago Bulls teams and the players on them. We really got a look inside to see what guys like Dennis Rodman were truly like. However, Grant says that a lot of the documentary was embellishment as it wasn\u2019t particularly accurate<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “I would say it was entertaining, but we know, who was there as teammates, that about 90% of it — I don’t know if I can say it on air, but B.S. in terms of the realness of it,” Grant said during his Monday interview. “But all of that was kind of edited out of the documentary, if you want to call it a documentary.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
