These two teams have dominated everyone else in Europe, winning all but one title, and they have had some incredible series over the years. G2 and Fnatic both have seven LEC titles to their name, so each side is hoping to break the tie in their favor this weekend when they meet in the winner’s bracket of the LEC Summer Split Playoffs. The winner will go directly to the LEC Summer Split Finals, while the loser will have to face one of the other three teams left to earn the right to a rematch. G2 are deserved favorites by the LEC betting odds considering their current winning streak over Fnatic.

2020 League of Legends LEC Summer Split Playoffs Betting Odds

G2 Esports -294
Fnatic +211

Top Lane

Wunder has been much more consistent than Bwipo in the top lane this year. While G2’s top laner has had his share of struggles, he has put it together more often than his Fnatic counterpart. Bwipo has a 2.1 KDA in the playoffs and posted the same KDA in the regular season, while Wunder has a 2.8 KDA in the postseason and regular season. Wunder’s top lane Neeko is something that Fnatic must keep in mind, but G2 don’t have to worry too much about Bwipo since he has largely been relegated to tank duty.

Jungle

The decision to replace Broxah with Selfmade was an inspired one for Fnatic. Selfmade has been just as good as Broxah, and he was superb on Evelyn and Karthus against Rogue. He is a jungler that can make plays, and that’s what you need opposite Jankos. G2’s star jungler and former LEC MVP has not had the best split, but he has come on strong over the last month. He has put his woes behind him, so he has to be given the edge given his track record.

Mid Lane

Caps is the best mid laner in Europe. He has been the best at his position in the region for the last three years, and he put G2 on his back this season. They flirted with missing out on the playoffs for much of the year, but Caps ensured they would make it back to Worlds with some dominant performances.

His replacement with Fnatic was solid in the 2019 Summer Split, but Nemesis has been hit or miss this year. His 13 KDA in the postseason is the best on the team, and he showed he can play Lucian and Kog’Maw in the mid lane. That gives him some hope that he can finally best Caps, yet it’s unlikely given how their mid lane matchups have typically gone.

Bottom Lane

Rekkles has had a great bounceback year. It appeared he might be on his way out as the best bottom laner in the LEC with his performance in 2019, but he came back with a vengeance this season. He is back to being the rock for Fnatic, but his laning partner has had some big problems. Hylissang has been a coin flip player, and he seems to either play very well or die way too often in the early game.

Meanwhile, Mikyx has been reliable in support for G2. He has been underrated on such a talented team, but he keeps an excellent job of keeping Perkz safe. The former mid laner has a habit of being a little too overaggressive at times, so Mikyx knows he has to protect his teammate. Perkz has not been the revelation he was in 2019, but he has been solid nonetheless.

Prediction

G2 have defeated Fnatic in all seven games they have played this season, so you can’t go against G2 Esports. They are favorites per the League of Legends betting odds for a reason, so they are the pick at this price.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

The rivalry between G2 Esports and Fnatic has been the best in League of Legends over the last few years….

[140

post-13173","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-esports
["GET
