This week\u2019s promotion will be held at UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. The prelims for UFC on ESPN: Hermansson vs. Vettori will kick off at 7 p.m. ET, and the main event is slated to start at 10 p.m. ET. All the action will be available exclusively on ESPN2 and through ESPN+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UFC lists Hermansson as the No. 4 ranked middleweight contender, while Vettori is nine spots behind him at No. 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hermansson is 21-5 with 11 knockouts in his career. He has won five of his last six fights, and his only loss in that stretch came to Jared Cannonier last September. We saw Hermansson earn a submission victory over Kelvin Gastelum back in July, and a win here could lead to a long-awaited UFC title shot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for Vettori, he has won three straight bouts ahead of this fight. However, his most impressive performance in the UFC might have been his last loss. Vettori lost a split decision to Israel Adesanya in April 2018, and we have seen Adesanya\u2019s star skyrocket since that point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Vettori certainly has a good chance to win this fight, but he shouldn\u2019t be a favorite as Hermansson is an excellent grappler that catches opponents off guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ovince St. Preux +150<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Jamahal Hill -175<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s interesting for the UFC to put Hermansson on the same card as another unconventional fighter in Ovince St. Preux. He has been a mainstay in the light heavyweight division, and he has been used as a barometer for young fighters in his most recent fights. We saw him stop Alonzo Menifield back in September, and St. Preux is 13-9 since joining the UFC back in 2012. His unorthodox tends to give inexperienced fighters problems, so he is a great bet as a moderately priced underdog<\/a> per the UFC betting odds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This will be Hill\u2019s toughest test yet. He is 8-0 coming into this fight, and he has already secured two victories after making a name for himself in the Contender Series. Hill has yet to show he can be competitive on the ground though, so he might be in real danger if St. Preux takes him to the canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Montana De La Rosa +180<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Taila Santos -210<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The No. 15 ranked women\u2019s flyweight is filling in for Maryna Moroz on short notice, and she is a sizable underdog<\/a> against Taila Santos. Montana De La Rosa has lost two of her last three matches, while Santos is seen as an up and comer. Santos is 16-1, and her one loss was by split decision to Mara Romero Borella.
