If you thought the Dallas Cowboys had a chance when they hosted the Baltimore Ravens on this Tuesday special, you got bad news Sunday. Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has been cleared to play<\/a> and is off the NFL\u2019s COVID-19 protocol according to reports, which makes the folks in Baltimore happy, the folks at FOX happy and the remaining Cowboys fans pretty despondent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was a fortunate turn of events for the Ravens, especially since this chaotic NFL schedule over the last two weeks has been all their fault after they had four different coronovirus strains in their facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DALLAS<\/strong> COWBOYS AT BALTIMORE RAVENS (-8.5, O\/U: 45)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Location:<\/strong> M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Md.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kickoff:<\/strong> Dec. 8. 8:05 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Broadcast:<\/strong> FOX\/NFL Network<\/p>\n\n\n\n THE HISTORY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n History? There\u2019s not much as the Ravens\u2019 officially began play in 1996 when the team moved to Baltimore and left the Cleveland Browns name and history back in Ohio. As such, the Cowboys and Ravens have met just five times, all since 2000. Baltimore holds a decisive edge in the series, up 4-1, though the Cowboys lone win was in their last meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dallas won 27-17 on Nov. 20, 2016. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was 27 of 36 for 301 yards and three touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott rushed 25 times for 97 yards. Dez Bryant, who will suit up for the Ravens Tuesday, caught six passes for 80 yards and two TDs. For Baltimore, Joe Flacco threw for 269 yards and a TD. Terrance West and Kenneth Dixon combined for 82 yards and a score on the ground. Steve Smith Sr. caught eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DALLAS<\/strong> COWBOYS (3-8)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Dallas Cowboys are paying the price for making the worst coaching hire of the offseason. Mike McCarthy lost one of the best QBs in the league early in the season and his awful coaching and playcalling have been exposed and on display for all to see. As such, the Cowboys have lost five of their last six. Last week they were dominated by the Washington Football Team, 41-6. Andy Dalton threw for 215 yards, a TD and a pick. Elliott was held to just 32 yards on the ground. Amari Cooper caught six passes for 112 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n BALTIMORE<\/strong> RAVENS (6-5)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ravens are enjoying a three game losing streak of their own that\u2019s put their playoff plans on the ropes. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore managed just 10 first downs and 219 total yards. Back up quarterback No. 1, Robert Griffin III was benched before the game was over and backup No. 2 Trace McSorely picked up the only NFL highlight of his career, tossing a 70-yard TD to Marquise Brown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The good news for Baltimore is that the Cowboys are the worst coached team in the league and their defense hasn\u2019t stopped anyone. While Lamar Jackson hasn\u2019t played in quite a while and the Ravens offense is basically what they run at any middle school in the country, it won\u2019t matter against Dallas.
