G2 Esports and Rogue are currently unbeaten through the superweek and Misfits Gaming went 2-1, but the other teams in the LEC could only win one of their three games. That means we will see plenty of movement in the standings this week after everything plays out, but Rogue and G2 Esports are both sizable favorites in each of their games in Week 2.

2021 LEC Spring Split Week 2 Betting Odds

Excel Esports -208
Astralis +152

Ahead of the 2021 League of Legends season, Astralis was seen as the worst team in Europe by most observers. Top laner WhiteKnight and the bottom lane of Jeskla and Promisq were seen as fringe starters, and mid laner Nukeduck’s play significantly tailed off by the end of last split. Nukeduck is off to a strong start this split with a 6 KDA while dealing 32.2 percent of his team’s damage, but the rest of the team has struggled and is getting outfarmed in lane.

That makes Excel the pick here although they are a moderately priced favorite. Czekolad has been impressive in the mid lane for Excel despite having a 1.5 KDA, and Kryze has shown a lot of range in the top lane by playing Ivern, Lulu, and Camille. Patrik and Tore are a solid bottom lane, and they can get past Astralis.

Rogue -357
Team Vitality +243

We’re seeing a lot of love for Rogue. This team made its first Worlds appearance in 2020, and Larssen is showing that he might be the best mid laner in the region. He currently boasts a 36 KDA with a 72.7 percent kill participation per Games of Legends. Trymbi has been somewhat impressive in support too.

Vitality has to be the pick at this price though. Milica is a very talented mid laner in his own right although he is still raw, and Skeanz currently has a 6.0 KDA with 74.6 percent of his team’s damage out of the jungle. Szygenda won’t be outplayed in the top lane by Odoamne, so Vitality has a good chance of pulling off the upset.

Misfits Gaming -182
SK Gaming +137

Misfits upset Fnatic and MAD Lions in Week 1, but they fell to Vitality to keep from starting the season 3-0. Those are impressive wins, but the peripherals surrounding those victories aren’t much to be excited about for this team. Razork played a big part in those wins, while Kobbe wasn’t too impressive in the bottom lane.

If SK Gaming adapt to the meta and take more standard bottom lane picks for Jezu, they might be able to take advantage. Jezu ended up playing Ezreal last week, and it wasn’t surprising to see him struggle on a champion that has no place on this patch. He did have a strong game on Aphelios though, so Aphelios or Kai’Sa should be his choice this time.

G2 Esports -476
Schalke 04 +311

Ho hum. G2 Esports went 3-0 to start the split. They knocked off MAD Lions, SK Gaming and Excel, but two of those three teams were competitive until the 20-minute mark. Caps made some out of character plays in the mid lane, and Jankos is clearly not the same jungler he was in the past.

That gives Schalke a real chance to pull off the upset. This isn’t an extremely talented team, but Gilius is a strong jungler despite his 1.6 KDA, and Abbedagge is an underrated mid laner. The key will be former Team SoloMid top laner Brokenblade who has had a checkered professional career.

Fnatic -185
MAD Lions +140

How far will Fnatic fall without Rekkles? That question will hover over this team throughout the 2021 season. The early returns aren’t promising as this team dropped two of three games in Week 1. His replacement (Upset) didn’t perform poorly, but top laner Bwipo and mid laner Nisqy did not have strong weeks.

MAD Lions will be a popular underdog pick given Fnatic’s struggles. Their two losses last week were to G2 Esports and Misfits, and they had a 2k gold lead on G2 before stumbling around the 20-minute mark. They were steamrolled by Misfits in their last game, but that’s a performance they will shake off to get the win.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

There are seven teams that are 1-2 through the first week of the 2021 LEC Spring Split.
