Fnatic are just one game behind after a somewhat shaky start, and there are three other teams above .500 including Schalke 04 and MAD Lions. Everyone is still alive in the playoff hunt though, including 1-8 Team Vitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2021 LEC Spring Split Week 5 Betting Odds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Excel Esports -213 The biggest surprise of the Spring Split is Excel Esports. This team has yet to make it to the playoffs in any of its four previous splits, but Excel is currently sitting at 5-4. All four of their losses have come against teams with winning records, while they hold serve against the sub-.500 teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Excel have two solid laners in Kryze and Czekolad. Kryze has been able to make some unique picks work, and that gives Excel some flexibility in the draft phase. They have a reliable bottom lane too in Patrik and Tore. Astralis are a bit of a mess, so Excel are the play at this price<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Misfits Gaming -132 This is a curious line. SK Gaming are one game ahead of Misfits Gaming in the standings and beat them earlier in the season. Misfits\u2019 only victory in the last three weeks was over lowly Astralis. Vetheo has been caught out too much in the mid lane, and Hirit hasn\u2019t been the difference maker in the top lane some were expecting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That\u2019s why SK Gaming have to be the pick here<\/a>. While this team doesn\u2019t have a superstar, they have played well together and do a good job of playing together in the mid game. They leave something to be desired in the laning phase, but if they can get to the 15-minute mark relatively even, they have a good chance of winning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rogue -500 Oddsmakers are starting to really believe in Rogue. This team was seen as more of a flash in the pan last season, but the return of three of five starters has made Rogue a legitimate contender. Larssen is an elite mid laner on par with Caps, and Inspired is a top-three jungler in the region. Their drafts have left something to be desired, but they largely make it work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The addition of Crownshot put a little pep in Vitality\u2019s step. However, there are still a lot of issues on this team that need to be sorted out before they can turn the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fnatic -182 Fnatic\u2019s last loss was against MAD Lions. That game was all over the place though, as it was a 35-minute banger that saw 50 kills and multiple huge swings along the way. Fnatic had over a 4k gold lead at the 28-minute mark before a huge teamfight win gave MAD Lions a chance to even up the gold and push on to win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We will see very different team comps this time around, but there should be plenty of early skirmishing. Both teams are active in the early game, and we might see 30 kills or more in this game once again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n FC Schalke 04 +223 One of G2 Esports\u2019 two losses this season came at the hands of Schalke three weeks ago. G2 had Wunder take Kled into the top lane, and it did not work out well for the team. He was unable to make too much of an impact, and he submitted a paltry 0\/1\/3 KDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n G2 have a history of blowing out teams that beat them the first time in the second round robin. This team is very proactive and learns from its mistakes, and they always improve as the meta becomes more established.
