We will see Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou square off for the heavyweight belt at UFC 260 next week, and UFC 261 in Jacksonville next month will be the first event with fans in over a year. There are some great fights on this week’s card too, headlined by Derek Brunson taking on Kevin Holland.

UFC on ESPN: Brunson vs. Holland is on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The prelims will start at 7 p.m. ET and be broadcast on ESPN2 and ESPN Plus. The main card is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. ET and be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Plus.

UFC on ESPN: Brunson vs. Holland Betting Odds

Kevin Holland -173
Derek Brunson +148

We’ve seen Derek Brunson win three straight fights since his first-round TKO loss at the hands of Israel Adesanya at UFC 230. Brunson scored two unanimous decision victories in 2019 and picked up a TKO win over Edmen Shahbazyan last August. That has him ranked No. 7 in the middleweight decision.

Although Brunson is ranked higher in the class, he is an underdog to No. 10 Kevin Holland in the feature fight on Saturday. Holland has been on a tear since losing his UFC premier to Thiago Santos at UFC 227. He has won eight of his last nine fights, and his only loss was a submission defeat at the hands of Brendan Allen. All those bouts have been in the span of just a little over two years, indicating he is hungry for a title shot.

Holland has been the most exciting fighter over the last year. He entered the Octagon five times between May and December and won all five bouts. Three of those five wins saw Holland earn a Performance of the Night bonus, and his last win tied him for all the all-time record in terms of wins in a calendar year.

However, that has also led to the oddsmakers tipping the odds a little too much in his favor. Brunson is a nice play as a moderate underdog.

Brad Riddell +220
Gregor Gillespie -260

It’s been almost 18 months since Gregor Gillespie last took part in a UFC event. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the former collegiate wrestler after a 13-0 start, but he was knocked out by a head kick for his first loss at UFC 244. He is trying to bounce back against Brad Riddell, and he has a good chance as he is a solid all-around fighter with six knockouts and five submissions.

Riddell has just one loss on his resume too. He is 3-0 since joining the UFC in October 2019. The former kickboxer isn’t much of a grappler or wrestler as he doesn’t have a submission victory, but five of his nine wins have come by knockout. This will be his first fight outside of Asia, and the oddsmakers don’t like his chances for his US debut.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

The next month is going to be extremely exciting for the UFC.
