Now that the Mid-Season Invitational has come to an end, it\u2019s time for all the regional leagues to start their Summer Splits. China\u2019s LPL will kick off on June 7, Korea\u2019s LCK will start on June 9, and Europe\u2019s LEC will get underway on June 11. The first region back in action is North America though, as the LCS is set to start on Friday, June 4. It will be a busy season for LCS teams as the league moves to a triple round robin format with every team playing 27 games. Cloud9, Team Liquid, and Team SoloMid are the three favorites<\/a> to go to the World Championships out of the LCS, but the other seven teams are hoping to punch their ticket in their place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 1 Betting Odds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team Liquid -169
Team SoloMid +127<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These figure to be two of the best teams in the LCS once again. Liquid got the better of TSM in the Spring Split Playoffs, and they deserve to be favored in the opening match of the Summer Split. Tactical had a disappointing Spring Split, but there is little doubt he is a more talented bottom laner than TSM\u2019s Lost. Additionally, Alphari can handle Huni in the top lane and lead Liquid to a victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evil Geniuses -167
Dignitas +125<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This line is a little peculiar since Dignitas beat Evil Geniuses in both of their Spring Split meetings. FakeGod was strong in the top lane, and Dardoch and Aphromoo proved that they aren\u2019t washed up veterans no matter what certain general managers claim. Although Neo is Dignitas\u2019 weak link in the bottom lane, it\u2019s going to be tough for Evil Geniuses to exploit it with a new bottom laner of their own in Danny. Golden Guardians +518
Cloud9 -1000<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is wild to see a team favored by so much in Week 1. Cloud9 were the best team in North America during the Spring Split though, while Golden Guardians were clearly the worst. The Guardians did little to get better in the offseason, but they did make a couple proactive moves in promoting Solo and Chime from their academy team. Still, this squad has little chance of holding its own against C9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

100 Thieves -270
Immortals +195<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Papasmithy continues to rebuild 100 Thieves. After the Ryoma experiment failed, he made no hesitation to improve mid lane and brought over Abbedagge from the LEC\u2019s Schalke 04. That will make 100 Thieves a serious contender in the Summer Split. The Thieves shouldn\u2019t have much trouble with Immortals, as Xerxe and Insanity will be too aggressive for their own good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FlyQuest -111
Counter Logic Gaming -119<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great opportunity<\/a> to bet FlyQuest. CLG continue to flounder no matter what strategy they pursue, and their decision to add a bunch of veterans did not pay off in the Spring Split. They went 5-13, and all of the starters look past their prime. FlyQuest aren\u2019t a great team, but they can get the job done here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
