Team SoloMid was somewhat expected to sweep after beating Team Liquid in their first match, but Immortals’ 3-0 week was surprising. Immortals needed a week like that to move closer to the top six as Spring Split records are carrying over into the Summer Split to determine seeding for the championship in a few months. On the other end of the table, TSM and Cloud9 are the top two teams, but 100 Thieves, Dignitas, and Team Liquid are right on their tails.

2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 2 Betting Odds

100 Thieves +121
Team SoloMid -161

We saw 100 Thieves make possibly the biggest move in the LCS after the Spring Split. They followed in the footsteps of other organizations in bringing over a European mid laner by signing Abbedagge from FC Schalke 04 Esports. Abbedagge was excellent in Week 1 with a 7.2 KDA in three games on Karma. FBI and Huhi were solid too, but TSM probably won’t let FBI get Varus considering the strength of the champion.

SwordArt continued to be a playmaker in support for TSM in Week 1. He was setting up his teammates on Rell and Leona, participating in 74.4% of his team’s kills per Games of Legends. PowerOfEvil and Spica played very well too, but TSM can punish Lost and Huni. Ssumday can get an advantage over his Korean colleague, making 100 Thieves a solid underdog pick on Saturday.

Team Liquid -200
Dignitas +149

Jenkins replaced Alphari in the top lane for Team Liquid in two of three games last week. It looks like Team Liquid will continue to use Jenkins up top for the time being, and they will probably have him on the weak side for the foreseeable future. Liquid wants to play through its other two lanes as Jensen and CoreJJ are still two of the best in the LCS.

Dignitas were impressive in their first week. They went 2-1 as Soligo had a 7.7 KDA in the mid lane. However, they recently announced that Yusui will take over in the mid lane for Soligo, making his LCS debut. That’s a puzzling move considering what we have seen from Soligo, so it’s hard to back Dignitas here.

Evil Geniuses -122
Immortals -108

Danny’s debut did not go as planned for Evil Geniuses, but nothing did for the team in Week 1. The Geniuses lost all three of their matches, and the loss to FlyQuest was a particular killer. They were in full control of the game, but they were wiped as they pushed to end, resulting in a crushing defeat.

They will bounce back and get the win against Immortals this week. While Immortals were unbeaten in Week 1, this is a common theme for jungler Xerxe. He starts off very strong, this time with a 40.0 KDA, but teams figure out how to counter his picks.

Counter Logic Gaming -169
Golden Guardians +127

These are the two worst teams in the LCS. Counter Logic Gaming arguably has more talent, but a lot of that talent is past its prime. WildTurtle, Smoothie, and Broxah are at the end of their competitive careers, and it’s hard to depend on Finn and Pobelter to carry the day. While CLG lost all three of their games last week, Golden Guardians rose up to upset Cloud9 before losing to Immortals and TSM, so they are a great play as an underdog.

FlyQuest +273
Cloud9 -400

Cloud9’s decision to start K1ng over Zven in the bottom lane turned a lot of heads in Week 1. We didn’t see K1ng on any other champion but Kai’Sa, and he posted the best KDA on the team. C9 went 1-2 in Week 1, so it’s hard to back them as this much of a favorite. If you are going to make a wager on this game, it’s FlyQuest or pass.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

Two teams won all three of their games in Week 1 of the LCS Summer Split.
