He was T9 at THE PLAYERS Championship, T5 at the Masters, and T8 at the PGA Championship, so he is primed for a big win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Course<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Farmers Insurance Open, this course is a par-72. However, Torrey Pines will be a par-71 for the US Open. The sixth hole is a 564-yard par five during the annual event, but it will be adjusted to be a 515-yard par four for this week\u2019s major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Torrey Pines is a public course owned by the city of San Diego. It has a North Course and a South Course, and it is the South Course that will be used for the US Open this weekend. McIlroy won the Wells Fargo Championship last month, and he finished T8 at last year\u2019s US Open.
