This is the last week of the LCS Summer Split. Two of the bottom three teams (Counter Logic Gaming, FlyQuest, and Golden Guardians) will see their seasons come to an end, while the one team that makes it to the playoffs next week is likely to be one and done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the top of the table, Team SoloMid and 100 Thieves are duking it out for the No. 1 overall seed. TSM has the edge after knocking off the Thieves on Friday, but the Thieves are just a game behind and both Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses still have outside chances to be the top team if they win out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2021 League of Legends LCS Summer Split Week 9 Betting Odds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Team SoloMid -256 Expect a lot of action<\/a> on TSM on Sunday afternoon if this becomes a must-win for the most popular team in North America to win the No. 1 seed. TSM has looked like the best team in the region this Summer Split with an 18-7 record after Friday\u2019s win over 100 Thieves, and no one is laughing about the acquisition of SwordArt anymore after he continues to set the tone in team fights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As for Dignitas, this team has been treading water in the summer. They have remained steadfast in their intent to use Yusui in the mid lane, but he has a 2.8 KDA and a 55.6% kill percentage per Games of Legends. FakeGod hasn\u2019t been as effective in the top lane either, leading to this team struggling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Golden Guardians +118 There is a lot to like about the Golden Guardians going forward. They decided to roll the dice with young talent this season, and they have matured and grown together as a team. The Guardians are 9-15 this summer, but they have lost four straight matches while Immortals have won four in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Immortals are 3-1 against the Guardians in 2021. They are jockeying with Dignitas for the No. 6 seed, so there\u2019s a good chance this match means a lot to them. The odds here could change dramatically depending on what happens on Friday and Saturday, but Immortals are definitely the right pick<\/a> at this price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cloud9 -139 It hasn\u2019t been a great split for Team Liquid. They are just 13-11 in the Summer Split coming into Week 9. This team has been juggling its top laner and jungler, and Tactical has had a hard time on other bottom lane champions not named Varus or Kalista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That makes Cloud9 a better choice, especially at this number. Fudge has improved markedly over the course of the year, and Zven has been fantastic since returning to the starting lineup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 100 Thieves -127 The rise of Evil Geniuses over the last several weeks has been impressive. They were a middling team in the Spring Split and looked to be much of the same through the first couple weeks of the Summer Split. However, the Geniuses have come alive as Danny and IgNar have been an excellent bottom lane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Conversely, we haven\u2019t seen great play out of 100 Thieves the last few weeks. This team no longer looks as sharp as they did earlier in the season, although Abbedagge continues to play well in the mid lane. Go with the slight underdog<\/a> and take the Geniuses here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Counter Logic Gaming -103 There\u2019s a decent chance the last match of the regular season means nothing. FlyQuest and CLG have been two of the worst teams this year, and these may be the two teams that miss out on the postseason.
