Europe\u2019s three teams in the League of Legends World Championship will be determined this weekend. Rogue and MAD Lions have already earned their spots due to their wins last week, but the last spot is down to one of three teams. The winner of the series between Fnatic and Misfits Gaming on Friday will face G2 Esports on Sunday afternoon for Europe\u2019s third and final spot at Worlds. That means the stakes are sky-high in the second-to-last week of LEC action in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His play diminished as the split went on though, and he really struggled last week as he was dealing with COVID and was separated from his team while playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Adam has been released from quarantine so that should give the team a boost. Bwipo played very well in the jungle last week after some inconsistent performances in the Summer Split, but the key will be Upset in the bottom lane. He had a 13 KDA in the series win over Team Vitality and is regarded by some as the best bottom laner in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Misfits have a pretty good bottom lane with Kobbe and Vander leading the way. Kobbe was unable to beat Rogue on Ashe last week, but he played very well on Xayah and Jhin in that series. Vander remains one of the top supports in the league too, and he did a good job of keeping Kobbe safe and engaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As long as Adam plays relatively well, Fnatic should win this series<\/a>. Misfits just don\u2019t have the firepower to win a five-game series although they took Rogue to a decisive fifth game last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rogue -112 These two teams have established themselves as superior to Fnatic and G2 over the last year. It\u2019s been a huge changing of the guard moment in the LEC, and now one of these two teams will ensure they have a spot in the LEC Summer Split Finals and an automatic bye into the Group Stage at Worlds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rogue upended MAD Lions for the final spot at Worlds in 2020, but MAD Lions knocked off Rogue to win the Spring Split Finals and make it to the Mid-Season Invitational. The oddsmakers are expecting this to be another close series, and it would be a small surprise if it didn\u2019t go to all five games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The key for Rogue is its mid-jungle synergy. Inspired and Larssen are arguably the best two players at their positions in Europe. They have shined all year, and we saw Inspired hard carry when Misfits Gaming took them to five games. Rogue have the edge over MAD Lions in those two areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MAD Lions have the advantage in the bottom lane. Although Trymbi and Hans Sama have been good, Carzzy and Kaiser have had great chemistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The tipping point will be the play of MAD Lions\u2019 top laner Armut. If he plays like he did against G2 Esports last week, MAD Lions should win this series<\/a>.
