The last time the ESPN crew showed up on campus, Katy Perry was the toast of the town as the Rebels went on to upset the Alabama Crimson Tide. Many are hoping for Perry to return (including Lane Kiffin) for this Saturday\u2019s showdown with the Texas A&amp;M Aggies. Texas A&amp;M has been superb over the last month, so the Aggies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/football\/ncaa\">are favored<\/a> by the college football betting odds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"College Football Picks: Texas A&amp;M vs Ole Miss | BetOnline All Access | NCAAF Picks and Predictions\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/k8DC24md1nA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ole Miss Rebels will host the Texas A&amp;M Aggies at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>College Football Betting Odds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Texas A&amp;M -2.5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ole Miss +2.5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Total 56.5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Texas A&amp;M looked to be overrated at the start of the season. However, the Aggies have been one of the best teams in college football since their loss to Mississippi State. Jimbo Fisher became the first Nick Saban assistant to knock off his mentor with a 41-38 win over No. 1 Alabama, and the Aggies have since knocked off Missouri, South Carolina, and Auburn by at least 17 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rebels\u2019 two losses this season were to Alabama and Auburn. Ole Miss hasn\u2019t been as impressive as Texas A&amp;M, and this offense has not been as explosive as it was at the beginning of the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When Texas A&amp;M Has the Ball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zach Calzada is not as polished as Haynes King was under center, but he has been good enough for the Aggies to contend for the SEC West title. He has an elite tight end in Jalen Wydermyer and one of the fastest players in the country in Ainias Smith on the perimeter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is one of the best ground games in the country with Isaiah Spiller and Devon Achane running the ball. They have combined to run for 1,579 yards and 10 touchdowns with Spiller averaging 6.1 APC and Achane averaging 7.4 YPC. That has helped the Aggies stabilize on offense with a backup quarterback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ole Miss does not have a good defense. The Rebels are allowing 4.4 YPC and 7.9 YPA, ranking outside the top 80 nationally in both categories. They are good at getting to the quarterback though with a sack rate of nearly 11%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When Ole Miss Has the Ball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matt Corral is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/football\/ncaa\">Heisman Trophy frontrunners<\/a>. He has been dealing with an injured ankle, but he has completed 66.9% of his passes for 9.3 YPA with 16 touchdowns and two interceptions. Corral is the leading rusher on the Rebels with 528 yards and 10 touchdowns, and he is averaging 4.6 YPC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rebels have plenty of talented receivers, but their three leading receivers are all dealing with injuries. Jonathan Mingo is out for this game, while Dontario Drummond and Braylon Sanders are questionable to play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Texas A&amp;M has one of the best defenses in the nation. The Aggies are allowing 4.4 yards per play and 14.7 PPG to rank fifth in Defensive SP+. DeMarvin Leal has been great along the defensive line in Mike Elko\u2019s unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prediction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Aggies will take care of business with one of the best defenses in the country.
