Most people know what they have with their team, but they could face some tough decisions this week. These are some of the players to avoid when it comes to setting your lineup.

Carson Wentz (QB) – Indianapolis Colts

Few stat lines are as deceiving as that of Carson Wentz. Indianapolis’ starting quarterback has completed 63.5% of his passes for 2,378 yards with 17 touchdowns and three interceptions. However, Wentz has averaged 5.8 YPA or less in three of this last four starts. He has thrown several passes that could have easily been picked off in recent weeks though, and his interception numbers could easily be higher. Buffalo’s defense has done a better job of forcing turnovers than any other team, and this secondary is very good with the best safety tandem in the NFL.

Jordan Howard (RB) – Philadelphia Eagles

Miles Sanders’ injury has allowed Jordan Howard to shine at running back for the Eagles. He has run for 211 yards and three touchdowns in his three games, averaging 5.1 YPC. However, it’s been very difficult to run the ball on New Orleans. The Saints have not allowed any 100-yard rushers this season, and they have given up just three rushing touchdowns to running backs. New Orleans is surrendering a league best 3.1 YPC and 72.9 YPG on the ground.

Mike Williams (WR) – Los Angeles Chargers

We saw Mike Williams ball out over a month ago in a 47-42 win over the Cleveland Browns. Williams had eight receptions for 165 yards and two touchdowns, but he has just 10 receptions for 147 yards in the Los Angeles Chargers’ last four games. He doesn’t have a touchdown catch since that performance either. Pittsburgh has one of the better secondaries in the NFL, allowing just 225.9 YPG through the air.

Gerald Everett (TE) – Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks signed Gerald Everett from the Los Angeles Rams this offseason. He was the Seahawks’ leading receiver last week against the Green Bay Packers, but he hasn’t found the end zone since Week 1’s win over the Indianapolis Colts. The last time Everett was targeted more than three times in a game before last Sunday was in Week 3 against Minnesota, so it’s very likely that his production falls off considerably this week. Arizona has linebackers that are fast enough to cover most tight ends too.

Tennessee Titans (D/ST)

Tennessee is a great pick at first glance. The Titans will be facing the worst offense in the NFL in Houston, but they are very banged up. Three of their four linebackers will miss this game due to injury, and their secondary is missing first-round pick Caleb Farley and may be without Janoris Jenkins too. Tyrod Taylor is not as bad as he looked against Miami two weeks ago, and Houston will have something prepared after having a bye week.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

We are coming down the stretch of the fantasy football season.
