Michigan has been blown out by Ohio State in each of their last two meetings though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Ohio State has been on fire since a loss to Oregon in Week 2. The Buckeyes have looked dominant in recent weeks, and they hammered Purdue and Michigan State in their last two outings. That has made C.J. Stroud the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When Ohio State Has the Ball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n C.J. Stroud is completing 71.1% of his passes for 3,468 yards (10.0 YPA) with 36 touchdowns and five interceptions. Stroud has three elite receivers in the passing game as Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave were all-conference selections in 2020. Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads Ohio State with 69 receptions for 1,132 yards and six touchdowns, while Wilson has 60 catches for 939 yards and 11 touchdowns, and Olave has 58 receptions for 848 yards and 13 TDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Buckeyes have a superb running back in TreVeyon Henderson. The talented freshman has run for 1,098 yards and 14 touchdowns, and he is averaging 7.3 YPC. Henderson can make things happen any time he touches the ball, but this Michigan defense has a very good defensive line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n David Ojabo has 10 sacks for the Wolverines, and he leads the Big Ten in that regard. Aidan Hutchinson is seen as a potential top ten pick, and he has nine sacks on the year for Michigan. The Wolverines rank sixth in scoring defense (16.3 PPG) and sixth in total defense (306.2 YPG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n When Michigan Has the Ball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Blake Corum was the leading rusher for the Wolverines before being injured in the Indiana game. Corum has missed the last two games with an injury, and he is questionable to play in this game. He has run for 778 yards (6.0 YPC) and 10 touchdowns. Hassan Haskins has run for 1,063 yards (4.9 YPC) and 13 touchdowns and is now the go-to running back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ground game has allowed Cade McNamara to be very successful through the air. McNamara is completing 64.2% of his passes for 2,142 yards (8.1 YPA) with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions. The Buckeyes are allowing 3.1 YPC and 103.5 YPG, but they have been susceptible to power run games.
