UFC Bantamweight Championship title holder Aljamain Sterling was then supposed to take on Petr Yan, but that fight too was moved back to UFC 273 in April. The preliminary fights will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+ starting at 8 p.m. ET, while the main card will get underway at 10 p.m. ET through ESPN PPV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>UFC 272 Picks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jorge Masvidal by KO +400 vs. Colby Covington<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Jorge Masvidal and Colby Covington are seen as top contenders in the welterweight division, it\u2019s doubtful that either fighter will get a shot at UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman any time soon. The pound-for-pound top fighter in the UFC has defeated Covington and Masvidal twice in the last 27 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Covington is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/martial-arts\/mma\/ufc-272\">a heavy favorite<\/a> per the UFC betting odds, but more bettors are jumping on the chance to take Masvidal as a sizeable underdog due to his knockout power. It is likely that Covington will win the fight if it goes the distance due to his endurance, youth, and wrestling background, but Masvidal gave us the fastest knockout in UFC history at UFC 239. Each of his last five wins have been by knockout, so the best bet is for Jorge Masvidal to win this fight by KO\/TKO\/DQ at 4-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sergey Spivak -190 vs. Greg Hardy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/martial-arts\/mma\/ufc-272\">best value on the board<\/a> lies with Sergey Spivak. The heavyweight of Moldovan and Ukrainian heritage will be a crowd favorite due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and he is a much better fighter than Greg Hardy. Spivak has wins over Tai Tuivasa and Alexey Oleynik over the last 30 months, and his recent loss to Tom Aspinall doesn\u2019t look bad considering what we have seen from Aspinall over the last two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Hardy has lost his last two fights. He was knocked out by both Marcin Tybura and Tai Tuivasa, and his wins aren\u2019t that good. His two most recent wins are against Yorgan de Castro and Maurice Greene, and neither fighter is part of the UFC any longer. Hardy has not shown an ability to grapple and wrestle either, giving him just one way to win this fight. If he can\u2019t knock out Spivak early, he won\u2019t be able to get the win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kevin Holland -330 vs. Alex Oliveira<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last year hasn\u2019t been great for Kevin Holland. After winning five fights in 2020, he failed to get a win in 2021 with unanimous decision losses to Derek Brunson and Marvin Vettori, as well as a first-round No Contest against Kyle Daukaus due to a had clash.
