UFC Fight Nights have largely been held in Las Vegas for the last two years because of COVID, but we will see the highest level of MMA return to the United Kingdom on Saturday. English fighters Tom Aspinall and Arnold Allen are headlining this fight on the main event and co-main event, but are they ready for the step up in competition? That\u2019s the major storyline heading into this promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Aspinall will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from The O2 Arena in London, England. This event will be broadcast in its entirety on ESPN+ with the prelims starting at 1 p.m. ET and the main event getting underway at 4 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
UFC Fight Night: Volkov vs. Aspinall Betting Odds and Picks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Alexander Volkov +106 vs. Tom Aspinall<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Tom Aspinall has won his last seven fights coming into his first main event. He is currently 4-0 in the UFC with three Performance of the Night bonuses to his credit, and he finished three of those four opponents in the first round. Aspinall has nice wins over veteran Andrei Arlovski and Sergey Spivak in his last two fights, but stamina is a concern for the crowd favorite. He has yet to have a fight last longer than the second round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n That makes Alexander Volkov a solid bet<\/a> as an underdog this Saturday. Volkov is a very experienced fighter with 43 MMA contests under his belt. He won the heavyweight title in both Bellator and M1, and although he has lost three of his last seven fights, those defeats came against top fighters Ciryl Gane, Curtis Blaydes, and Derrick Lewis. There is no doubt that Volkov has the stamina, and he should be able to use his experience to outpoint Aspinall in a decision win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dan Hooker +105 vs. Arnold Allen<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Experience is the reason to back Dan Hooker too. Hooker has lost three of his last four fights, but this is his eighth year in the UFC, and he is 12-7 since joining in the summer of 2014. He is a well-rounded fighter that has been able to beat opponents like Al Iaquinta and Paul Felder recently, and his latest loss can\u2019t be held against him as he was a late fill-in just five weeks after a fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Arnold Allen is 17-1 and the hometown favorite, but he is very light on experience. All of his UFC wins are against relative unknowns, and he hasn\u2019t shown knockout power at the next level. He shouldn\u2019t be favored<\/a> by the UFC betting odds in this fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nikita Krylov -184 vs. Paul Craig<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, there is an intriguing fight on the preliminary card between Nikita Krylov and Paul Craig. Krylov and Craig are ranked in the top 12 in the light heavyweight division, but Krylov is much more of a known commodity with his only recent losses coming against former champion Jan Blachowicz, current champion Glover Teixeira (by split decision), and top contender Magomed Ankalaev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It won\u2019t be easy for Paul Craig to compete in this bout. He is a submission specialist that hasn\u2019t shown a ton of stamina, as none of his 19 fights have gone the distance.
