Teams like Boston, Toronto, and Memphis have come on strong and are looking scary coming into the postseason. Meanwhile, other teams like Chicago, Cleveland, and Golden State have tailed off considerably and might be one-and-done in the playoffs. The one team that has been consistent throughout the season though is Phoenix, and the Suns are even bigger favorites to win the NBA championship this week by the NBA futures odds.

1. Phoenix Suns

This Week’s Odds: +325
Last Week’s Odds: +350

Devin Booker helped lead Phoenix to its eighth straight win on Sunday night. The Suns have thrived even without veteran Chris Paul on the court, and they have clinched home court advantage throughout the postseason. They are lighting up opponents with their offense, and Phoenix needs one more win to secure its best regular season record in franchise history. That has led to Monty Williams being a heavy odds-on favorite to be named NBA Coach of the Year by the basketball prop betting lines.

2. Brooklyn Nets

This Week’s Odds: +600
Last Week’s Odds: +650

Although Brooklyn will almost certainly have to take part in the play-in tournament, the Nets are still the favorite in the Eastern Conference. They do seem to have the most potential now they Kyrie Irving is back on the court, but they are in a precarious position. They are currently the No. 9 seed, and that would mean the Nets need to win two games to get in the playoffs rather than win just one of two.

3. Golden State Warriors

This Week’s Odds: +650

Last Week’s Odds: +550

It’s getting tougher to believe in Golden State. The Warriors have fallen apart over the last month, and they are now four games behind Memphis for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. The team recently announced that James Wiseman was being shut down for the season, depriving Golden State of a needed big body in the low post. Golden State has lost five of its last six games.

4. Milwaukee Bucks

This Week’s Odds: +700 (No Change)

Milwaukee continues to play well. The Bucks are a half game behind Boston and Miami for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. They have been very good at home this season, so the race for the top spot between those three teams and Philadelphia figures to be very interesting. Jrue Holiday is playing much better this year, making the Bucks very dangerous.

5. Philadelphia 76ers

This Week’s Odds: +850
Last Week’s Odds: +800

James Harden has a history of falling apart in the postseason, but that’s something the Sixers can’t afford if they want to break a four-decade title drought. Harden has posted gaudy numbers at times, as this team is now fully structured around him and Joel Embiid. They are still learning to play together though, so this team is hard to believe in right now.

6. Boston Celtics

This Week’s Odds: +850
Last Week’s Odds: +1000

The hottest team in the Eastern Conference is now tied with Miami for the top seed. Boston has thrived over the last two months, and the Celtics have won nine of their last 10 games. This team was 25-25 exactly two months ago, and Boston is 22-3 in its last 25 games. The Celtics were 14-1 two weeks ago, but their NBA title odds have dropped substantially as more people are buying in to Boston.

7. Miami Heat

This Week’s Odds: +950 (No Change)

There might be real trouble in South Beach. Miami has lost four straight games, and the blowup between Jimmy Butler and Erik Spoelstra might have exposed something with this team. The Heat haven’t looked the same since the altercation between player and coach, so it might be time to cash out of any Miami Heat futures bets.

Follow our Twitter account for the latest sports news and wagering odds, and come to our Instagram for more useful betting info too.

There are just two weeks left in the NBA regular season.
