He is currently ranked at the top of the list for multiple outlets, as he has won titles in four different weight classes. The only boxers that have actually challenged him are fellow greats Gennady Golovkin and Floyd Mayweather Jr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Canelo Alvarez has fought 60 times as a professional, but he is still just 31 years old. Alvarez won his first major title in March 2011, beating Matthew Hatton by unanimous decision for the light middleweight belt, and he has put on the weight needed to climb the ladder and take on other foes. That has made him beloved among boxing fans even though he was the beneficiary of some very favorable judging in both of the GGG fights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alvarez has largely dominated his last seven opponents since the second fight with Golovkin. He is one of the best counter punchers we have ever seen in the sport, and that has made it hard for opponents to land clean shots on him. His last six victories have all come by unanimous decision, but he has largely dominated those bouts. Almost all of his opponents managed to win no more than a round or two on all of the judges\u2019 cards. He has the toughness and durability to sustain some hard hits from Alvarez, and that makes him <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/boxing\/bouts\/bouts\">worthy of consideration<\/a> at +400.
