The LFL has been the most popular regional European league for the last couple years, so it\u2019s only fitting that the top two teams in the region square off for all the marbles. Karmine Corp became the first team in the history of the competition to repeat as champions last year, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/esports\">they are underdogs<\/a> in their bid to threepeat. They finished atop the LFL table in the regular season, and they surprisingly swept Karmine Corp 3-0 in the playoffs before pulling out a 3-2 win over BDS Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Top laner Ragner has arguably been the best player in this competition. It\u2019s often a thankless job to be a top laner in this meta as he has consistently asked to play tanks, but he has done very well in the role. Ragner is carrying a 4.5 KDA per Games of Legends, and we have seen some great initiations while he was on Aatrox or Sion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eika leads LDLC with a 9.9 KDA. He has largely taken LeBlanc into the mid lane, and he has an 11.0 KDA on the champion while also leading the team in damage. Eika has also shined on control mages too, and that\u2019s good news for LDLC in this meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have seen Yike play well in the jungle, so if there\u2019s a weak spot on this team it\u2019s the bottom lane. Exakick has only really played either Aphelios or Xayah in this competition, and he is carrying a 59.7% kill percentage per Games of Legends. Doss is a solid support though.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the start of the season, Karmine Corp was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/esports\">the favorite<\/a> to win the LFL and the EU Masters per the League of Legends futures odds. They added the greatest AD Carry in European history in Rekkles to go with proven stars Cabochard and Saken. However, Rekkles is no longer the same extremely talented player that can take over in the late game that he was in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LDLC thrashed Karmine Corp in the LFL Playoffs, and Karmine Corp have not been at their best in this competition. They had to pull off the very first reverse sweep in the history of EU Masters to make the final, and Rekkles had a pretty quiet series until the final game when he popped off on Miss Fortune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key for Karmine Corp is their other two laners. Top laner Cabochard has the ability to win his lane hard, but he hasn\u2019t been great on tanks. Meanwhile, mid laner Saken continues to show a lot of talent and has an 8.4 KDA, but he can have some issues with his positioning in teamfights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Karmine Corp is the more popular team and will receive a lot of action, LDLC is the better play.
