BY ADAM GREENE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n While this game might look interesting on paper, it\u2019s probably not going to be watchable in real life. The draw is simple to see \u2014 fresh from getting traded in the offseason, quarterback Russell Wilson returns to Lumen field to take on his former team, the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019ll fill plenty of pregame packages, but the problem is, the actual game could be harder to watch than a Russell Wilson Instagram story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This will be the 57th<\/sup> match up between the Broncos and Seahawks and the reason that total is so high is because, until 2002, they were both in the AFC West. Seattle jumped to the NFC that year in what would eventually lead to their first three Super Bowl appearances for the Pacific Northwest franchise and one victory. It just so happened to be over these very Broncos in the 2013-14 season in Super Bowl XLVIII. That win gave Wilson his one and only Super Bowl ring and now he\u2019s playing for the other squad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Their last meeting was in Sept., 2018. The Broncos won 27-24, with Case Keenum throwing for 329 yards, three touchdowns and three picks for Denver in the win. Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsey ran for 71 yards apiece. Emmanuel Sanders caught 10 passes for 135 yards and a TD. Demariyus Thomas had six catches for 63 yards and a score. For Seattle, Wilson was good for 298 yards, three TDs and two interceptions. Chris Carson rushed for 51 yards and Will Dissly caught three balls for 105 yards and a TD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DENVER BRONCOS AT SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (+6.5, O\/U: 44)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Location<\/strong>: Lumen Field, Seattle, Wash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Broadcast:<\/strong> ESPN\/ABC<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kickoff:<\/strong> 8:15 p.m. EST<\/p>\n\n\n\n DENVER BRONCOS (0-0)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Denver went all in this offseason, trading a boatload of draft picks to the team they\u2019re facing Monday night in exchange for Russell Wilson. The Broncos are a team built to win now, but didn\u2019t have a QB on the roster that could win anytime. Wilson changes that completely and the journey back to the postseason for the Mile High team begins now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (0-0)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n No team in the NFL looked worse than the Seahawks in the preseason and they were playing starters a lot. It\u2019s hard to bet completely against Pete Carroll, but the septuagenarian coach might have bit off more than his dentures can chew with this rebuild of a team used to contending. Carroll is going with Geno Smith as his starter over Drew Lock, but claims both guys can start in the NFL. They have to, sure, since the Seahawks have no one else. But both those guys are back ups and not even particularly good ones. The 12th<\/sup> man fanbase is in for a shock in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I can\u2019t imagine any scenario where this game is close after the first quarter. Denver is loaded on offense, and wile Seattle has two stud receivers in Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, they have two duds throwing them the ball.
