BY ADAM GREENE<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n For the Dallas Cowboys, the Thanksgiving evening game has always been a solid showcase, but this year\u2019s match up with the New York Giants might be the most important they\u2019ve played in a decade when they meet up on Fox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The rivalry between the two franchises dates all the way back to the Cowboys\u2019 inaugural season in 1960. That game ended in a tie. This will be the 122nd<\/sup> all time meeting between the two clubs with Dallas holding a 72-47-2 advantage in the head to head. They last faced off on Sep. 26, with the Cowboys winning 23-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cooper Rush went 21 of 31 for 215 yards and a touchdown in the win. Tony Pollard rushed 13 times for 105 yards and Ezekiel Elliott had 15 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown. CeeDee Lamb hauled in eight balls for 87 yards and a score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the loss, Daniel Jones threw for 196 yards, no touchdowns and a pick. He added 79 yards on the ground. Saquon Barkley rushed 14 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. He added four catches for 45 yards. Sterling Shepard had five grabs for 49 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n NEW YORK GIANTS AT DALLAS COWBOYS <\/strong>(-9.5, O\/U: 45.5)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Location:<\/strong> AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas<\/p>\n\n\n\n Broadcast:<\/strong> FOX<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kickoff:<\/strong> Nov. 24, 4:30 p.m. EST<\/p>\n\n\n\n NEW YORK GIANTS (7-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Giants took it in the chin last week, losing in blowout fashion to the Detroit Lions, 31-18. Daniel Jones finished the day 27 of 44 for 341 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He was sacked twice. He led the team with 50 yards rushing and a TD, but no other player ran for more than 22 yards. Rookie Wan\u2019Dale Robinson caught nine passes for 100 yards, but tore his ACL in the process and will miss the rest of the year. Darius Slayton caught five passes for 86 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The defense did not lay a glove on Jared Goff and did not force a turnover of any kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n DALLAS COWBOYS (7-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Dallas unleashed the beast in Minnesota, embarrassing the Vikings to the tune of 40-3 last week. Dak Prescott was nearly perfect, finishing 22 of 25 for 276 yards and two touchdowns. He was not sacked. Tony Pollard had 15 carries for 80 yards and led the team with six catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Ezekiel Elliott had 15 carries for 42 yards and two scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The defense sacked Kirk Cousins seven times, held him to just 105 yards passing and the Vikings to only 73 yards rushing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s Thanksgiving, and the only thing Mike McCarthy will like more than tearing into that Turducken is knocking off the Giants to, at worst, take a commanding lead in the NFC Wild Card. Of course, he could be his own worst enemy in that regard and is not only the worst head coach in this game (behind Brian Daboll), he\u2019s not even the best coach on his own staff (that\u2019s Dan Quinn). Still, I think Dallas rolls.
