While it’s taken me a while to get through these win predictions, when it comes to New York here, that’s not the worst thing. Aaron Rodgers made it all of four plays in their season opening victory (yes, a win) over the Buffalo Bills. A game in which the Jets would have blown out their AFC rivals and likely head to a division championship at the end of the year. None of that is happening now.

There’s a chance the Jets will look at a potential trade, maybe a lame duck Kirk Cousins with a Minnesota Vikings team that is likely heading to a .500-ish record, but I still think they should lean into Zach Wilson. Coach him up, with Rodgers’ help, and see what they have. That was “supposedly” the plan anyway even with a healthy A-Rodge. It’s why they kept Wilson and didn’t trade or cut him.

New York might have the best defense in the league, but that’s not going to be enough. Not unless Wilson figures it out, and, while that might happen, it’ll probably take a while.

2023-23 Win Prediction: 6-11

Follow Adam Greene on Twitter @TheFirstMan.

Connect with us our socials on Twitter and Instagram for the latest sports news, viral moments, betting odds and the occasional memes.

BY ADAM GREENE Last season the New York Jets figured something out — they’re a good team, that could be…

[129

post-24294","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nfl
["GET
