This? It doesn\u2019t look too bad as the Jacksonville Jaguars, fresh off three consecutive wins, travel to The Big Easy, to take on the New Orleans Saints on Amazon Prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"People Watching Jaguars vs Saints Tonight #thursdaynightfootball #nfl #jaguars #saints\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/etIacyfpnow?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>New Orleans leads the all-time series 5-2 and has won the last four games going back to Nov. 2007. They last squared up on Oct. 13, 2019, with the Saints winning a defensive struggle, 13-6. Teddy Bridgewater was 24 of 36 passing for 240 yards, a touchdown and no picks in the win. Latavius Murray had eight carries for 44 yards. Michael Thomas caught eight passes for 89 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the loss, Gardner Minshew (now with the Indianapolis Colts) was 14 of 29 passing for 163 yards, no TDs and an interception. Leonard Fournette rushed 20 times for 72 yards. He led the team with six receptions for 46 yards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS AT NEW ORLEANS SAINTS <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.betonline.ag\/sportsbook\/football\/nfl\"><strong>(-1, O\/U: 39)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, La.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Broadcast:<\/strong> Prime Video<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kickoff:<\/strong> Oct. 19, 8:15 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (4-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Jags avoided the letdown after a monster win over the Buffalo Bills in London two weeks ago by taking care of business against the Colts, winning 37-20. Trevor Lawrence was 20 of 30 passing for 181 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He scrambled three times for 15 yards and was sacked three times. Travis Etienne, Jr. had 18 carries for 55 yards and two scores. He added three catches for 28 yards. Christian Kirk had three receptions for 49 yards and a TD. Brenton Strange caught two balls for 27 yards and a touchdown. The defense sacked Gardner Minshew three times, picked him off three times and held Indianapolis to just 44 yards on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NEW ORLEANS SAINTS (3-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Orleans gave all of human civilization a gift in Week 5, destroying the New England Patriots 34-0 in Foxboro but couldn\u2019t follow it up in Week 6. They fell 20-13 to the very plucky, and absolutely dangerous, Houston Texans. Derek Carr was 32 of 50 passing for 353 yards, one TD and a pick. He was sacked twice. Alvin Kamara rushed 19 times for 68 yards and caught seven passes for 36 yards. Chris Olave hauled in seven passes for 96 yards. Rashid Shaheed had two receptions for 85 yards and a score. The defense sacked CJ Stroud twice and picked him off once, the first interception of Stroud\u2019s career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a real chance Trevor Lawrence won\u2019t play due to a knee injury. He\u2019s practiced this week wearing a brace and, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/38682463\/jaguars-trevor-lawrence-says-left-knee-injury-progressed-really-well-optimistic-tnf\">ESPN, is \u201coptimistic\u201d<\/a> about suiting up. If he\u2019s a no-go, that means CJ Beathard will get the call and, likely, this game will have a different result. So, I\u2019m making two picks, contingent on Lawrence\u2019s availability. I would say hold off on betting this one until you know Thursday, but if you want to roll the dice, you\u2019re getting better odds the less we officially know. <strong>Without Lawrence, Saints 24, Jaguars 13.
