Cris Collinsworth is already excitedly oiling up his buttock for the slide-in as the Buffalo Bills travel to Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football. Mike Terico is going to wake up Monday morning with a thigh bruise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the 34th<\/sup> all time meeting between the two clubs, with Buffalo holding a 17-16 edge. Their most famous matchup happened a year ago, with the Bills\u2019 Damar Hamlin being saved on the field after what looked like a routine hit last December. Cincinnati was up 7-3 at the time and the game was cancelled. And while that decision wasn\u2019t controversial, the Bengals nearly got screwed out of the AFC North title because of it. Not only that, Cincy opened the AFC as the three seed, when, if they\u2019d held onto win, they would have been the two. It all worked out, because the Bengals traveled to Buffalo in the AFC Divisional Round and routed the Bills, 27-10 to make their second consecutive AFC Championship game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Burrow was 23 of 36 passing for 242 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the win. Joe Mixon rushed 20 times for 105 yards and a score. Ja\u2019Marr Chase caught five passes for 61 yards and a TD. Hayden Hurst hauled in five balls for 59 yards and a touchdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the loss, Josh Allen was 25 of 42 for 264 yards, no touchdowns and a pick. He led the team in rushing with eight carries for 26 yards and a TD. Dawson Knox caught five passes for 65 yards.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bills did that thing they usually do last Thursday, when they should beat a team by three touchdowns, but thanks to stupid play calls and dumb situational awareness, let the Tampa Bay Buccaneers hang around and make it a game. Buffalo would hang on for a 24-18 victory over the Bucs. Josh Allen finished his night 31 of 40 passing for 324 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He added seven carries for 41 yards, a score and was sacked twice. James Cook led the team in rushing with 14 carries for 67 yards, so offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey made sure to take him off the field on key important downs. Khalil Shakir caught six passes for 92 yards. Gabe Davis had nine receptions for 87 yards and a TD. Rookie Dalton Kincaid had a breakout game, hauling in five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. The defense sacked Baker Mayfield three times and held Tampa Bay to just 78 total yards on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CINCINNATI BENGALS (4-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Sunday the Bengals officially clinched the NFC West title by obliterating the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, 31-17. All four of the Bengals\u2019 wins this season have been against NFC West teams. Joe Burrow was 28 of 32 for 283 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He scrambled six times for 43 yards, so I guess he\u2019s healed up now. Joe Mixon rushed 16 times for 87 yards and a touchdown. Ja\u2019Marr Chase caught 10 passes for 100 yards and a score. The defense sacked Brock Purdy twice, picked him off twice and held the Niners to just 113 total yards rushing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve said it since last year. The Bengals are the Bills everyone\u2019s been waiting for. All of punditry thought Buffalo would be the contender for the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 crown, but Cincinnati is the only team to actually take it not QB\u2019ed by Tom Brady. The Bills have screwed around in nearly every game this season, making them all closer than they should be. Cincinnati will make them pay for it. Bengals 31, Bills 23<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
