Everybody, hold onto your hats, toupees, wigs, scarves or whatever you currently have perched atop your cranium because, for the first time since Week 2, we have a solid matchup on Amazon Prime\u2019s Thursday Night Football. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbsteit are already hugging each other in joy, tears streaming down their faces as the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Crabcake Town to face off against the Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though the Ravens are the old Cleveland Browns, none of their games count before the Baltimore move in 1996 for reasons that only the NFL and City of Cleveland understand. In spite of that, Baltimore holds a 29-27 lead in the all-time series and won their first matchup this season, 27-24, on Sep. 17. Lamar Jackson was 24 of 33 passing for 237 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the win. He rushed 12 times for 54 yards. Gus Edwards led the team with 10 carries for 62 yards and a score. Nelson Agholor caught five passes for 63 yards and a TD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the loss, Joe Burrow was 27 of 41 passing for 222 yards, two touchdowns and a pick. Joe Mixon rushed 13 times for 59 yards. Tee Higgins caught eight passes for 89 yards and two TDs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CINCINNATI BENGALS AT BALTIMORE RAVENS <\/strong>(-3.5, O\/U: 46)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

CINCINNATI BENGALS (5-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last Sunday the Bengals suffered a not so shocking upset at the hands of the Houston Texans, losing 30-27 in a shootout. Joe Burrow was 27 of 40 passing for 347 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He scrambled five times for 20 yards and was sacked four times. Joe Mixon had 11 carries for 46 yards and a score. Ja\u2019Marr Chase caught five passes for 124 yards and a TD. Tyler Boyd had eight receptions for 117 yards. The defense sacked CJ Stroud once, picked him off once and forced two fumbles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BALTIMORE RAVENS (7-3)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the Bengals, the Ravens too found themselves on the wrong side of a home upset, falling 33-31 in the final seconds to the Cleveland Browns. Lamar Jackson had his worst performance of the season, going 13 of 23 for 223 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He led the team rushing with eight carries for 41 yards and he was sacked three times. Zay Flowers caught five passes for 73 yards. The defense sacked Deshaun Watson four times, picked him off once and forced a fumble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE PICK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both these teams are coming off bad losses at home, so there\u2019s no real motivation advantage to be had there. Cincinnati swept the Ravens a year ago, but both games were without Lamar Jackson. I think he, and Baltimore\u2019s new, non Pop-Warner offense, makes the difference in this one. Also, fun fact, Cincy is 0-14 in Prime Time road games since 2013. Ouch. Ravens 31, Bengals 27<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
