As we head into the final month of the regular season, several teams have emerged as the<\/p>\n\n\n\n
favorites to win the NBA title this spring. Boston and Denver have two of the deepest lineups in<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the league but there are several other teams looking to play spoiler as the chase for the Larry<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O\u2019Brien Trophy is about to begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Boston Celtics (+190)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n For the better part of the regular season the Celtics have had the best record in the NBA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Boston is near the top in several categories including first in rebound, second in points, and<\/p>\n\n\n\n second in 3-point shooting percentage. The Celtics are led by Jayson Tatum who\u2019s averaging<\/p>\n\n\n\n 27 points, 8 rebounds and almost 5 assists per game. Boston has made the Eastern<\/p>\n\n\n\n Conference finals in 5 of the last 7 seasons and are poised to make it 6 this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Denver Nuggets (+310)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Nuggets are the defending champions and have one of the deepest rosters led by Nikola<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jokic who is averaging 26 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists this season and is shooting<\/p>\n\n\n\n 58% from the floor. Jokic is on his way to winning his third MVP award and looking for<\/p>\n\n\n\n back-to-back NBA titles. Even though the West is stacked many believe Denver is the team to<\/p>\n\n\n\n beat in the postseason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Los Angeles Clippers (+700)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Don\u2019t look now but the Los Angeles Clippers are finally becoming the force many thought they<\/p>\n\n\n\n could be. Since mid-November, L.A. has the third best record in the league moving themselves<\/p>\n\n\n\n up the standings. After years of disappointment and flaming out in the playoffs, many believe<\/p>\n\n\n\n this team could finally reach a Final. Kawhi Leonard is the healthiest he\u2019s been in recent years,<\/p>\n\n\n\n and the Big 3 (Leonard, James Harden, Paul George) are coexisting together on the floor. But<\/p>\n\n\n\n none of this matters if there isn\u2019t playoff success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Milwaukee Bucks (+750)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Milwaukee Bucks have the second best record in the East despite firing their coach midway<\/p>\n\n\n\n through the season. Doc Rivers takes over and has the Bucks on track for a deep playoff run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lilliard are still two of the best. For the Bucks, it’ll all come<\/p>\n\n\n\n down to coaching in the playoffs as Rivers has recently been known more for playoff collapses<\/p>\n\n\n\n than success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Los Angeles Lakers (+3300)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Since winning the In-Season Tournament in December the Lakers have been essentially playing<\/p>\n\n\n\n .500 basketball. But you can\u2019t count out a team with Lebron James and Anthony Davis. As<\/p>\n\n\n\n long as they get in, even as a play-in team, the Lakers still have a chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Golden State Warriors (+4000)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n It appears the Warriors championship window is starting to close. Steph Curry is 36 and other<\/p>\n\n\n\n key players from their dynasty like Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have transitioned into<\/p>\n\n\n\n more role players. But the priority for Golden State is locking down a spot, which most likely is a<\/p>\n\n\n\n play-in berth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Miami Heat (+4000)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Heat are the defending Eastern Conference champions having reached the final as the No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8 seed last season. They are once again in the mix but have reworked the roster by trading<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kyle Lowry and bringing in Terry Rozier.
